Being lined up for the winner of Abraham v Smith which will probably go ahead on September 26th.

What sort of opponent do you think Sauderland will get him?

    hopefully somebody decent.

Im sick and tired of British based fighters fighting absolute tomato cans until they get their ultimate litmus test.

Imo he needs to fight a legit top 10 Super middleweight. No more gimme fights

Probably someone easy and feather-fisted to rebuild his confidence.

i agree, I think Groves is at a very high level now, and gimme fights against some polish plasterer will do his skill set no good in my opinion.

I just think he needs to fight at a good level all the time to help him progress.

ok, i think we all think Abraham will beat Smith, so theoretically speaking Groves is now on a build up to a fight with Abraham.

in your opinion would it be better for Groves to knock some bozo over before fighting a very very tough Abraham, or would he be better off in a 60-40 fight against someone that will make him use his full skill set to win, for his preparation?

Im of the old school, id rather he kept at a decent level from now on.

Yeah but hes comin off a knockout loss. So be a grand confidence builder against someone the british public would know. and he can step it up in december.

Brian Magee is pretty much finished. He has been busy setting up gyms around the Belfast area. It seems to be working out well for him
