September sounds too early for the Abraham Smith winner? What's the date of that fight, as I can't see it on Boxrec?

no hes having a warm up in september on the 13th or the 20th.

Abraham v Smith is on the 26th september, Groves will more then likely fight the winner next year.

Once they crack, they don't come back.

Groves is damaged goods imo, and all the talent in the World won't stop that chin from being tested again.

Froch was considered an accumlative punch finisher, yet he left Groves out on Pluto.

He's getting way too much credit off the back off the first Froch fight.

I think Degale Groves 2 is the perfect barometer, Groves won the first fight, and Degale has beaten nobody, how risky can it be ?

Eddie would never put degale in with groves as he's lost the past 2 fights with him

There are hundreds of examples to the contrary, and each say you have no idea what you're talking about.

GG has talent but there will always be questions marks until he wins a title and rightly so

He needs to be more active in two years before he boxed Froch he had 5 fights lasting about 30 rounds in the same time Froch had gone 12 rounds with Kessler and Ward and beaten Bute and Mack.

He needs a few warm up fights then hopefully Abraham next year before fights with Bika and Degale.

Groves or Chunky could actaully clear the divison up by the beginning of 2016.

Many examples of fighters being stopped and coming back without a problem.

Far from damaged goods, in fact I think he'll come back even better - he's a top talent.

At the end of the day, Froch landed an absolute pearler of a right hand on the button as Groves was throwing his own shot which made things worse.

He's getting credit for his fights with Froch because in the lead up, everyone thought Froch was going to steam roll him... he more than held his own with a proven world class fighter twice whilst himself being inexperienced.

Degale v Groves 2 at this moment at time, shouldn't and won't happen.

A fighter being stopped is no indication that they are done. Probably the best example is Wlad.

George never was that good and all the pumping him up before the fight made it even worse for him......If he fights DeGale he will lose, but that makes no never mind cos he aint going anywhere....now or ever....

To be honest,I think he's too good for Groves next fight. Im sure it will be nobody half as good as Oosthuisen

    Exactly

If every fighter that got stopped was finished we'd never have had Tommy Hearns, Joe Frazer, Joe Louis, Roberto Duran, Mike Tyson, Lennox Lewis, Nigel Benn, Manny Paquiao.............

To say he's finished is just bollox. im not saying the lad is going to become the greatest super middle in history, but he's certainly got bags of talent and can bang. So in my eyes he's the makings of a fighter we can enjoy watching in the coming years.
