The lack of credibility in the story comes from the fact these 'threats' were supposedly made to the Police. I mean if you're planning on killing someone, the last people you're going to tell are the Police surely

True....the only eye witness to the alleged attack couldn't attend court as he was otherwise indisposed propping up a flyover somewhere. You're right though, the Sun shouldn't have printed that.
