Watched both fights and figured in the rematch Groves would throw more body shots considering he head hunted the entire first fight. Looks like the rematch was no different, jab jab right, jab jab right, Groves has no variety in his punches. Where are the hooks to the body, uppercuts?? Froch really only had to look for one shot, the overhand right!
Yep I noticed that as well no body work only targeting the head. Only threw a jab to the body once or twice
Good observation and kind of strange when you think about it, wonder if its delibarate or just poor decision making
Also why do the tv analyst favor Groves so much when they calling the fight, Groves really only landed a few jabs yet they gave him every early round . Groves can't fight on the inside, he never win exchanges, he doesn't hold or mug, he really has no weapons...if Froch had better defense (for the straight right) he'd beat Groves easy every time.
Just got to the end of the fight, jeez, he almost took Groves head off with that shot, what's funny is once again the tv analyst are trying to blame the ref for stopping the fight too early, lunacy. Groves threw all those right hands trying to KO Froch but got stopped with that same right hand! Good stuff from the old Cobra
You people DKSAB How would you do body work when your opponent has their shoulder towards you with their lead arm lower (covering their body)? That's an open invitation to head hunting ROGER MAYWEATHER UP IN THIS *****
Groves does a similar thing but he still get's hit to the body. Didn't Maidana land body shots on Floyd?
Must of seen a different fight. Groves hardly threw a right hand all night and was jabbibg to body first three rounds
both of froch's hands are by his waists so hard to hit there. groves stopped kenny anderson by going to the body.
