Brilliant post, couldn't agree more. Exactly how I seen it. Brook was/is technically far superior than Gavin who was easy to hit. I personally think Brook could have easily stopped him inside two rounds if he went out with than gameplan. The fight highlighted the gap from British level to World level perfectly for me.

 

I don't see why gorges gets disliked he never personally insulted nobody but had froch and degale making fun of his appearance. People forget how much a pr**k degale was in the build up of there fight

 

you can even more clearly see groves throwing right hands. and then what, press home his stamina advantage down the stretch?

look at gg's wide stance from the off. he was looking to catch froch coming in with something big again, but froch used his jab and, gasp, movement to prevent george from setting and getting off. in my local everyone including the groves fans saw how it was going, my chelsea mate even tore up his betting slip after 3.

 

I am a Froch fan always have been and turst me no one wanted to see Ginger Kid wiped out more than me. But there is no doubting Groves was trying to pace himself in the 2nd fight to try and pick off as many cheap rounds as possible early on without really engaging. After the first fight Groves knew Carl wasnt for knocking out (god knows how easy one of the strongest chin displays I ahve ever seen!!) Groves will never admit it but fatigue meant that in the first fight he wouldnt have seen the 12 he thought after the first round he was gonna end Carl He was gassing badly and i think woulda been stopped over the next two.

The second fight was a real cagey affair i had Froch up by 1 rnd if i remember right before the KO. However with Groves looking to engage more in the latter rounds of the 2nd fight there was always an increasing chance of getting caught .... and we all know what happened.

Give it up u two ur embarassing yourselves. You both know enough about boxing to know what im saying is correct ur both just being to stubborn to back down from either your man or point of view.

Froch won both in the end he was losing the first til the stoppage and the second was very close till the stoppage. Just fukin leave it that FFS !!dont spend another two days ...YES TWO DAYS !! going hammer and tong at each other stretching as much outta your posts as possible to make your points.atsch

 

I agree also, although personally I dont think it really matters what game plan Groves would use with Froch. He doesnt posses the tools to beat him. Froch is a strange entity in boxing So many things not "technically correct" about his style however to overcome him its doesnt really matter what "skill" you have if you have no stamina and cant take a proper solid shot then chances are he will beat you. And these two traits are possibly the biggest *****s in Groves' armour. The reason ward is able to toy with Froch is cause he has the stamina and chin to deal with him his strength and technical ability just helped widen the gap even more.

Anway i was trying to get you two back on track to actually talking about boxing !! and if possible talk about things happening just now in boxing not regurgitating old stories and arguements
