Groves: If Froch is a man, he will give me a rematch

Froch has actually become more unlike able since he has been on Sky and got more media coverage.......the more he talks the more he will be disliked


He has zero self awareness

 

The fight is unfinished business, no two ways about it - Froch when hearing the boo's in the post fight interviews said about sorting a rematch, now he's coming out with all sorts of bollocks as to not take the fight.

There is massive public demand for this rematch, it'll be huge domestically and the record should be set straight.

 

I think amongst many Froch fans,Carls reputation will be tarnished if his next and I hope his last fight isn't against Groves.Ward beats him every time...no disgrace about that,Ward is a superb fighter.I don't think I am alone as a keen Froch fan in having very little interest in a Chavez fight and no interest in Kessler 3!A big summer stadium event for a huge pay day would be a great way to finish his career.....and I can see him beating George comfortably second time around shutting up all his critics.Unless he retires it's the only way to finish a glowing career and I would be gob smacked if the rematch isn't announced in Jan.

 

If Groves gives up a lot around the table it could happen BUT how much will he sacrifice?

That's where love him or hate him Adam Booth would not let him be undersold I still think it will be Chavez Jr next good money in it least resistance.

Groves stock has done no harm a talented fighter who is being looked at overseas Germany,USA options lets hope the rematch can be made.

 

I think he can beat groves in the rematch but he will have to come through another war. Does he want to do that at this stage of his career.

Doubts must also be in the mind of groves, how can you land 50 power puches plus and still not knock him out. That will worry groves's

 

I think he wants 2 more fights one overseas then a fight here.

Groves has to concentrate on other avenues first in my opinion go straight back in against a top opponent win & then the clamour for the rematch goes through the roof.
It will be the question put to Froch even more than it is now.

He may want Ward but a pointless rematch Ward would win more impressively than the first time.

 

Groves is saying and doing all the right things.

He very well could have won a few weeks back, but we'll never know - and I'm sure he's even further confident now he can do Froch.

He see's it as a winnable fight, his chance to become a world champion, a big money spinner & his chance to correct the only black mark on his record - of course he's going to chase the fight.

 

Chase the fight but make sure he gets a decent deal don't just take anything that is on the table.

 

This- I think Groves has conducted himself well since the fight in media appearances.

The issue is how Groves looks against a highly ranked opponent- if he looks half decent I doubt Froch will want the rematch. I also don't know how Froch is going to deal with being booed- he seems a tad insecure to me. Groves I suspect would take a unfavourable split if the fight was in London.

 

The fight if happens will not be in London.

Froch shouldask for it to be at the City Ground Nottingham will be a huge attendance & travel wise suit anyone that wants to go.

One thing for sure Groves WILL be getting a unfavourable split to make it happen.

Anderson was no more out on his feet than Groves was earlier in the fight. As for "what was the point" you could ask exactly the same about Froch and Groves. Most thought Groves lost the Degale fight, he got a bit of luck and had not established that he was the better man.

Whilst they are different situations, you either believe that a fighter should give the rematch to clear things up once and for all, or you don't. Groves in this instance thinks Froch somehow owes him a rematch but wasn't willing to give Degale one.

I'm obviously not a Londoner sorry live in Wales work London. if u really think Anderson was in the same condition Groves was there is no point talking to u. It's 2 totally different situations so I honestly don't get why u mention it. Time will tell if we get Froch and Degale rematches happen.

If anyone thinks I'm just a Groves fan boy or whatever the younger guys call them on here u can't be more wrong. I'm a Groves fan but like a few current British fighters used to go see Froch a few times in the past before groves fight last one Bute FM arena. Got a strong opinion about the rematch as I was there for Froch Groves and was gutted at how it ended.

 

I get what your saying but don't u think they were measured punches hardly going for the KO was he. If anything Groves would know he can seriously hurt Froch just needs to time the knockdown better. Big worry would be the last 4 rounds condition wise

 

Think it would defo be London just not Stamford Bridge. Previous Froch fights City Ground allways been ruled out

Never read about the City Ground not being viable because as a location would be ideal links wise etc any idea why it has been ruled out in Nottingham?
