Froch is going to take a severe beating, he will be knocked down a good couple of times before the ref calls a halt, his face will look like a car crash victim, i'm putting £20 on a R3 KO.

 

True. Experience plays a large part though. If Groves does KO him does that mean A) Froch is past it or B) Groves has the best punching power of all Froch's opponents? (Which is a pretty solid list)

Froch taking a beating is practically guaranteed to happen, he just can't deal with Groves offence.

Problem is he's such a tough son of a ***** he might just walk through it all, pick himself up again at some point and still go on to finish stronger and pull out the win. Looking at his skills and ability he should have lost half a dozen times to more gifted and skilled fighters but his self belief, will and sheer stubbornness usually pulls him through.

While I generally have very little regard for the boxing acumen of the average British ESBer, that was an exceedingly well crafted post. Thoughtful, insightful, and bang-on.

 

Groves will not lose, he is too hungry for this. Froch has had his day.

 

If the referee isn't an incompetent fool and if Groves manages his resources better then yes, he will.
