Rd2 Smith comes out fast - guessing in order to take advantage of O'Meara not having fully recovered from that 'KD'. O'Meara rides it out and Smith falls back. Nice exchange of bodyshots on the inside. O'Meara landing more bodyshots and he's bleeding from the nose. Nice exchange at the end of the round, O'Meara came out on top IMO 19-18 Smith
Rd 3 Smith needs to stop charging forward. O'Meara looks the more 'solid' fighter up close. Smith lands a nice long, right hand and that's the punch he needs to be looking for. Again looks for exchanges on the inside and lets O'Meara land his bodyshots. And that's another nice right hand as they break up. O'Meara's not busy enough. He's waiting for Smith to step inside before doing his work. Smith round. 29-27 Smith
Mick Hennessey is a complete ****ing joke. How is he still involved with anyone? #wasteofspace #completegamp
Rd4 This is better from O'Meara, actually showing a jab and trying to work his way in. Both have switched up this round getting a jabbing contest going. They've had enough of that now and once again they go to battle at close quarters (not as exciting as it sounds, not enough action). Smith round but O'Meara got into it towards the end. 39-36 Smith
Rd5 Neither fighter is really showing themselves to be a class above the other. Smith may have won most of the rounds but O'Meara has pushed him in each of them. O'Meara has done a lot better that round. Don't think Smith landed anything decent apart from a left hook to the body. Pretty much every round has been fought at a really slow pace before picking up for the last 20/30 seconds. 48-46 Smith
