Groves-manfredo!!!

  1. Apparently it isnt going to happen but matchroom were trying to match groves with peter manfredo on the froch-kessler undercard

    For ****s sake,THIS IS PPV

I know its a good headline fight but the theory that sky would only ever bring PPV back for special circumstances will be tested if they dont produce a good undercard

For me,a boxing fan the whole card is what matters and although stieglitz was unlikely i expect a world ranked opponent

Degale, smith and anderson were better or as good as manfredo when george fought them

    So far we have
    Bellew-chilemba
    Ochieng-kandour

These are fights where the fighters can move up in their own field

    Groves needs the same

Do people agree, and i dont hold with the we needed american name bull****(the fights already sold)

There not going to do a massive undercard I don't think. They know that the majority of casual fans that they are trying to get to buy the card are not going to be watching until after the football finishes at 9.30pm anyway, so why put big fights on that are not going to sell that many more buys.

Hype the **** out of Kessler vs Froch fight during the football, will get Groves a rated opponent to look good against on the undercard for when everyone's tuned in, probably stick the Bellew vs Chilemba fight on after it, but there won't be much great beforehand IMO

Manfredo's still fighting? Thought he'd retired.

Casuals unfortunately don't give a **** about the undercard, even when they're paying £15.

Yep, been saying this all along. The main event sells the PPV and the CL on at the same time as the undercard means theres no too much money going to be pumped into that.

  8. ****ing hell, that aint good enough

Hearn needs to be selling to his own market as well

As in people who go and watch his shows, follow his fighters everywhere, and support him and his sky contract

Now is this a case of,he aint got no competition at sky so it dont matter because ive brought kessler over

Eddie hearn said he was going to make boxing exciting again with stacked cards that provide 3 very good tv fights, this doesnt deliver on this

And the champions league finals on,not in the ****ing arena it aint

Oh yeah they have already bought their tickets

Groves vs Manfredo is absolute crap,as bad as Groves vs Magee. Why don't they bring him over for Paul Smith or Kenny Anderson and put that on down the bill?Theyd be good matches.

How many of people post on here actually go to show! Most people myself included will be watching champions league i only interested in froch fight! When casual fans buy ppv they buy for a specific fight not undercard!

    Cracking fight.

  13. No excuses for me

Hearns talked about big cards he has ppv,so naturally it should be deep

Also ****** who everybody Slags got George a world title shot last year that he himself pulled out of injured

Also boxing is clearly my no1 sport and I won't be watching the champions league as there is a good boxing event in London that I'm paying for on the tv
