I dunno, maybe he just needs a little bit of time for his style to evolve without Adam Booth.
The way he carries himself in the ring, hand position, the way he stalks his opponent is very similar to David Haye and one must assume that is the influence of Adam Booth.
It has worked great for him so far and even in the rematch with Froch he was basically a round behind/level/ahead depending on who you ask.
It could simply be that right now he is between styles as he transitions from years with Adam Booth to 8 months with Paddy. Maybe with Booth in the corner he would have won, maybe with more time to get accustomed to boxing to Paddys orders he would have won, nobody can really say.
He didn't take a beating and will suffer no physical damage from a one punch KO so he has plenty of time to take another run or two at top honours.
If I were him I would relocate to the USA, simply because I love it there, but having signed with Sauerland that is basically not going to happen.
The real question is will Sauerland start putting on shows in the UK soon?

He should base himself in the states and get an american trainer and top class sparring over there.

Booth taught Groves how to be a GREAT talker and sell the fight well....same as David Haye.

Fitzpatrick is a no nonsense sort of guy though, a straight talker and he is what Groves needs.

In both fights Groves had a superiority complex and both times it did not work. Paddy will make him learn the hard way; how to keep your ego in check.
