    Hearn will get allot of stick if this is ends up as the main support fight and quite rightly so.

    Abraham won't fight on the Froch v Kessler undercard, but a fight against Groves in Germany a likely possibility, if AA wins against Stieglitz.

    Barakat isn't a bad opponent for such short notice.

    Hope he's gonna get a better opponent than Majewski for the O2 show though... if Groves is gonna fight the winner of the AA fight he needs a better warmup fight than that.

    Magee would be a good opponent for him or perhaps Maxim Vlasov.

    Yeah true, Baker's not all that TBH so was putting two and two together and coming up with 5. Another win and that's about it..

    I agree i don't see the winner fancying it so soon. But it seems like there's a reason he's chosen to be on this show. Maybe it's the fight in September.

    :lol::lol:

    Well,I reckon the guy who George was going to fight for the European title could probably beat his last opponent and this one on the same night,so its about right.Apart from not advancing his career as much,of course.Not saying its gonna happen,but wouldn't be amazed to hear"We were expecting to see George Groves tonight,but".

    I thought Adam Booth was going to be the man that picks who Groves fights on the under card of the Froch fight not Matchroom. IF thats the case Matchroom dont have much to do with how poor fighter is and is more of Team Groves fault. Eddie if he alouds Groves fight is playing the long game. Let Groves fight on the undercard in Germany and hopefully after his 3 fights runs out Groves will resign up for another 3 fights with Matchroom. Risky business but shows the fighter his support for him. I think its a good idea but with boxing anything could happen and it wouldnt shock me if he did pull out of the fight as well.

    im presuming this fight wont count as one of fights of three fight deal because its on another promoters card rather than eddie hearns and just a tune up.

    Even if did would be irrelevent as londons finest,tomorrows fight and froch -kessler undercard would count as three and the next one is geogre grove sheadlining in london which he will not turn down the chance to headline own show on sky sports.

    im just gutted not more notice as dont miss many groves fights and would ahve booked to go over there

    I don't mind big name fighters staying busy, even against no names. What I mind is when big name fighters fighting no bodies as main events, co-mains etc getting massive tv time etc

    Someone please explain to me why the European title is "not the direction" that Groves wants to go, but instead wants to fight Ghanian cab drivers on other peoples undercards?

    Almost as confusing as when Fury dropped the British title to go for a "World title", then picks up the Irish title in his next fight.
