    hasnt he already sparred froch and carl spoke of him very highly. invaulable experience. whos degale been sparring then???

    Anyway, I'm a big fan of Groves, sparring with AA and Kessler will be good for him. Obviously.

    The sparring and experience of fighting away from your home fans will do him no end of good. From memory Groves got 8 rounds in on the Haye undercard - over a really tough but obviously limited opponent..... to me that's far better than fighting 3 times in 4 months against questionable guys and blasting them all out inside 2 rounds each.

    It's something every promoter ought to look at doing with his young talent.

    I'm sure DeGale came back and said sparring with Mayweather was fantastic or something along those lines :huh
