The thing that worrys me now is, now that they are mandatory for the WBO, even with pulling out injured. Would they risk it all, British and the wbo Ranking by fighting Kenny on June 30th?!? No chance. Kenny gets bumped and held up again. I know people will argue that Kenny might not have earnt a shot at a world title yet but believe me with all the pieces of this story being put together he deserves it so much. He's fit and on the weight, how many others are with 2 and a half weeks to go?
Gutted for Groves, seriously. :-( Hopefully he now rematches that bitter bum Anderson and stops him again :thumbsup
Feel bad for Kenny cos i can see him being the fall guy in all this he has to sit around just as his career has actually got going. Stieglitz last opponent was brave but just a kid who was oversized and outskilled. Kenny would be a damn sight better!, Could be a Fight of the Year candidate if it happens. I got a feeling Kenny will miss out though.
Kenny should just forget Groves if anything decent comes up. He's clearly nothing wrong with him, it's all down to money.
Can't say Im gutted for Groves as he shouldn't have pulled the plug on the Anderson fight. What go's around come's around as a guru once told me.
Didn't his mentor pull that trick once. Remember when there was a really big heavyweight fight and then suddenly his back went.
