Can't see any other reason than injury to pull out of this one.

Quite, can't see this being a fake injury as Groves must surely feel that he can beat Stiegllitz? So why pull out, where will he find a better combination of belt/money/low risk? I'm gutted the fight's off, but am more inclined to think that he is fragile rather than that he is ducking and making up excuses.

EDIT: My 'quite' was aimed at Bryn's post rather than JimJom's

How gutted will Groves and his fanclub be if DeGale gets the nod and pulls it off :happy:happy

Ye there's no easier belt holder to beat so he wouldn't dodge this chance

George this is 3 fights in a row that you have pulled out of at late notice with an injury. Its getting ridiclious. I am not going to follow your career closley anymore and won't bother buying tickets to any fight where your the main event.

:rofl what a wanker. I'm surprised he didn't quote PPV figures to him while he was letting loose.

He's got a point. Fish Eyes deserves some blame as well, this one may well have been a legit injury but with the Anderson pullout which was so obviously not a serious injury it makes Groves look very bad.

Aye, ofcourse he's got a point but he's gone about making it like a spoilt child.

  12. In fairness, I lay into Rob a fair bit but agree 100% with him here.

There's clearly something up here, and it's not fair on the people that make plans and spend their hard earned to (hopefully) attend his fights, that often end up out of pocket.

Nor is it fair on the undercard fighters, who have training camps, pay sparring partners and what not to end up not getting any work.

    **** him :finger

**** The Dark One too :finger

Why was it so obviously not a serious injury? This could well be the same injury. Whoever's getting these fights for Groves needs to stop, because he's clearly not right and it's out of order on Anderson, Stieglitz, the fans and to Groves himself.

Yep, kinda deserves it for leaving Anderson in no man's land last minute, he's wasting alot of people's time and money here you either have an injury or you dont, you dont have a back injury pull out of a fight last minute, then all of a sudden a world title fight comes up and the back injury is gone! :-((

I am a Groves fan but you cant mess people about like this, I would love it if Kenny got the call now and grabbed it with both hands!

If he was legitimately injured then to take this fight knowing there's a big chance he won't be ready is just as bad.
