even if smith hasn't been really been tested yet same as you said eubank would be made to look foolish and imo eubank wouldn't even beat that guy skoglund

Smith is predicable, robotic and doesn't move his head.

He reminds me of a younger Arthur Abraham who wasn't a bad fighter by any stretch of the imagination but styles make fights as we say.

Eubank will be able to get in the pocket and tee off on his head because Smith has a tendency to sit back on the ropes and shells up in a high guard and hoping for an onslaught to stop. Price does the same thing, albeit he is usually stupid enough to stands right in the centre of the ring and do it, which gives great opportunity for his opponent to punch through his guard.

Holzken barely trained at all and he had success at snapping Smith's head back on several occasions. Eubank is veracious when his opponents invite the kind of pressure Holzken was allowed to put on Smith.

The one thing Smith will have in his favor is his jab and reach. Though lets not forget Smith has never been properly tested in his entire career. The eubank fight will be a shock to his system, there is no doubt about that.

Aren't they supposed to have a reserve fighter for every round? Sod Eubank, he's been found out already. As a stand alone fight him and Smith is cool but not to be the winner of the trophy, it's absurd.

I'd favor Smith, incidentally. As stated he is a little robotic but he's a strong lad who works the body well and can operate behind a jab. And Jr still thinks he beat Groves and Saunders, so he won't bother changing any of his faults.

Not again, please not again. I thought we'd heard the last of this type of garbage after Groves finally exposed Eubank for the crude one dimensional, British level slugger that he is. For the love of God please don't let Eubank into the final, I can't spend any more time reading drivel like this. Anybody that things Eubank beats Smith needs to get themselves down to the doctors ASAP.
In saying that, if it does happen, I hope the bookies use the same dullard to calculate the odds that they used for the Groves Eubank fight, those of us with sense can make another mint on the backs of crazies like yourself Sephiroth.

You don't have a clue about boxing. Calling Eubank British Level.

Groves exposed him and yes he is a hype job but the moment you begin putting him against domestic level opponents again, is the moment we see more tragedies and deaths.

He's a euro level fighter at best. And so is Smith which is why he wouldn't get outclassed as many of his supporters are arguing on here.

I seriously hope Eubank is drafted into the final so he can do a number on Smith and end this overrated stiff hypejob so stupid fans like you understand once and for all beating 24 Romanian gypsies and kick boxers who take fights on 6 days notice, doesn't make a fighter a world class unstoppable force.

British level...Euro level.....potato.....potarto. Sorry but as far as I'm concerned Eubank ain't that far above British level. Tell me I don't have a clue about boxing, I can't take you seriously anyway lol. I wonder what I'd find if I dug up your posts prior to the Groves Eubank fight hey? Probably you spouting the same trash about Eubank then. I'll let people like you keep hyping up cans like Eubank and OAP's like Haye so I can keep creaming off delicious odds from the bookies hahaha.

I think it was twentyman who pointed out that it was the size and power difference that Groves used to school Eubank. Callum is even bigger. He is stiffer and more robotic, Groves does have a better jab but I’d say Callum works the body better. If Eubank tries to close the distance I can see that left to the body hurting him and stopping him.

Nope I said Groves was likely to be too much for Eubank. Like I said I'm not fan of Eubank besides his theatrics outside the ring. Other than that I've always maintained he is a hypejob with poor balance and poor ring IQ. However he has heart, a rock solid chin and is a veracious volume puncher that will give most Euro Level fighters hell. And your hero Callum Stiff falls into that category unfortunately

Keep in mind I rarely get my predictions wrong.

I don't need you to take me seriously when you don't even think there is any difference between Euro and British level.

You better stay on this side of the fence, because your posts would get torn apart in the main forum.

What are you talking about at all? My posts would get torn apart in the main forum? Why don't you go and check out my posts in the main forum buddy? You're talking sheer waffle on all accounts today. Smiths a legit SMW with very good boxing fundamentals and as far as I'm concerned that's plenty enough to beat Eubank who is a very basic hooking machine who has no idea how to get on the inside against somebody with any degree of skill. Did you not watch the Groves fight? Eubank was launching hooks from about 6 feet away, if you think Callum Smith is going to get jobbed by someone setting up attacks from the other side of the ring you need to go and find another sport to watch because you're clueless. Groves needed binoculars to see where Eubank was setting up his ridiculous hooks from. I hope if Groves has pulled out and Eubank gets the nod you don't do a disappearing act after the fight because I'll come looking for a chat with you. I don't usually call people out after the fact but you're irritating.

Callum Smith doesn't have Groves power.

Groves is world class level fighter. Smith isn't going to be able replicate the same strategy.

I suggest you watch the Niekv Holzken fight back again and count the number of times Niekv - the man who took the fight on a few days notice - managed to snap Smith's head back at will whilst walking through Callum's best shots.

Now are you going to tell me a hobbyist, part time participant is a better fighter than Eubank?

With each post you make I become a little more convinced that you comment on boxing a lot more than you spectate. Smith beat Holzken with relative ease. Not to mention the fact you will find multiple posts on this very forum actually talking up Holzken prior to the fight. There is also the small matter of Smiths other 23 fights we can use as evidence. You just seem fixated with the Holzken fight for some reason, you'd think he beat Smith or something, he didn't.

Also you talk about Holzken like they dragged the guy off the street. The mans won 90 kickboxing bouts, he knows how to fight. Yes nowhere near smiths level in terms of pure boxing, hence the defeat.....

No I don't believe he won. He lost quite comprehensively however that doesn't take away the fact he had his moments of success in there

The reason I reference that fight, is because it showed solid evidence of holes in Smith's defence which I believe a younger and faster more agile fighter would exploit.

Groves would be that man if these rumors of him being pulled out of the tournament are untrue. If not I do not see why Eubank can't have a field day ambushing a robotic stiff hypejob who has grown accustomed to fighting bums whilst hiding behind his jab.
