    Yes, a good man Groves and very good fighter, i'll miss him..I get the feeling though its premature and he will comeback, don't know why !

    I personally think he should've waited for the winner of that before retiring, but I also know hes past prime with a win over both so why ruin it I suppose. As a fan just the winner of that then retire, but timing wise George has picked the perfect time health wise to retire !

    Yeah i'm a long time fan of Groves, its good he got out with his health, but could he resist a big money rematch with DeGale....(should JDG win at the weekend)

    Chris Eubank (sr) in an interview said that he suspected Groves may come back given there were some great opportunities around. Whether he was alluding to industry whispers, knowledge of conversations or just, and bear with me on this, talking out of his arse yet again it's impossible to say.

    I hope its the latter. Groves wasn't my favourite fighter but I warmed to him over time and I'm glad he's leaving with a good body of work and his health intact.
