Apparently Anderson had to take Jamie Mcdonell's British title as George Groves has refused to return his title. Poor show from Groves (AGAIN) :-( shows what little respect for anyone he has.

I've always been a Groves fan since day one. But in the last few years as he gets more & more exposure he is turning into a bit of a ****.

Groves really does seem to have a chip on his shoulder with regards to Anderson.

If he wanted it for keeps, he could have always defended it three times instead of faking bull**** injuries for financial reasons.

I think he was pissed off for being stripped of the title to be fair, looks a bit petty but he beat Degale for the title then defended against Smith but all Anderson has to done is beat a shot Robin Reid.He should move foward with has career because unless you are a Scott or really hate Groves then a Groves-Anderson fight is a backward step and a fight Groves would win easily.

Of course Groves would win handily IMO, but thats not the point, he knew he wasn't going to fight Anderson and stopped a man from pressing on with his career and feeding his family.

George had no interest in defending his British title, the lads a smug tosser, what do you expect hanging around with Booth and Haye.

This has nothing to do with them fighting, it is clear that Groves would win. He still has no rights to have the belt and can't keep it when someone else has won it

He had plenty of opportunities to take fights, and didn't do so - the American assignment aside.

dont see what groves can complain about he had not defended his title in about a year but fought in the USA instead of fighting Anderson, I remember Mcintyre got stripped for Pulling out a Kell Brook defence and he had only won the title about 3 months earlier then Brook defended against him
