Groves refuses to give belt back!

Yeah agreed, I think Kenny's attitude is ''you petty little *****''. No worth getting worked up over. He'll get the true belt eventually, but this also shows Groves once again in a poor light.

He's let his fans down a few times this year, if the Johnson fight doesn't happen you then question him yet again.

Good luck to Kenny, he's his own man. He doesn't need Groves, Groves doesn't need him.

 

There not facts though are they. You don't know him, you don't know what happened or indeed what didn't happen. As for the threats to Groves- idiots say stupid things all the time - as highlighted in your posts above... Do you think he ordered a henchman to text groves!

Get real. Your points are irrelevant and I'm not sure why I'm making the effort of replying to you but here's hoping you read this and wake up to reality.

 

I was a huge groves fan before he fought kenny but the way he's subsequently acted has totally put me off him. I'm totally opposed to people tweeting his girlfriend and stuff but pulling out of fights with fake injuries, not delivering titles, making sly comments on twitter- just get on with your own career- hopefully their paths will cross again. But kenny is aware he's just got to get on with his own career.

Ok everyone's got the right to an opinion but kenny was stuck with nowhere to go having being promised - and then mandated a rematch? Hatton ****ed him over, What else could he do - take a few other fights and another route? That's exactly what he's done.

Kenny is a really good guy personally ... One of my best friends. I understand that people will look at certain things and draw conclusions but he's a top lad. You'll be hard pressed to find anyone who actually knows kenny with anything bad to say about him.

In the big scheme of things how he's thought of an a forum or a set of forums is largely irrelevant but I'm giving you guys a bit more personal insight. It's up to you whether you chose to believe me or not.

 

I see this from a different angle TBH. Its not about nutsack hugging this argument, this is about people finally waking up to why people dont like George Groves, including James Degale(who beat Groves IMO) & Kenny Anderson(fully prepared Anderson KO's Groves & he knows it)

Groves brings out the bad side in people cos hes such a smug up his own arse git who gets lucky & snipes away about guys hes got the W over. As Skillspaybills rightfully said, if Reid won last night then it would have been massive for him, but Groves petulance would have tainted the win.

IMO Groves unwittingly gave Kenny a back handed compliment by not sending back the belt, he revealed that he KNEW Kenny was a cert to win. Why? Cos hes tasted the power, & knows he was a lucky boy to get an underprepared Anderson. It still hurts him that he knows a 'well prepared' Anderson KO's him, & thats why hes acting like a brat!

IMO, its a race between Degale & Anderson to see who gets him first, & gets sweet revenge:deal

 

By that measure, it's the same with Groves. it cuts both ways. I doubt anyone on here knows what's going on with him. I felt for Kenny over the rematch, but he'd have done the exact same thing in that position.

So to accuse one of being crap when you don't know the whole story on both sides is a little shallow.

I do believe you, never known you to be a star****er, but personal affiliation does change how you respond to what's going on.

 

What utter biased ****. A well-prepared Anderson is the same mythical unicorn like being as a well-prepared Mitchell. He got tooled by Groves because he isn't good enough. Getting outboxed by a shot to **** Reid for half the fight shows exactly how true that is.

c'mon DFT, we all know the back story. Anderson took that fight at very late notice, & started like a steam train until he gassed. All he wanted was a rematch with a full training camp behind him, & Groves has responded by acting like the utter **** and spoiled child that he is. Hes messed Kenny around criminally, cos he knows deep down that he doesnt want to share a ring with Kenny again. How anyone can defend Groves is beyond me TBH on this one!
The lad got an absolute gift aswell when he fought Degale, due to the 'sympathy' vote IMO, Groves even picking up some daft award if memory serves me correctly for winning that fight?

Funny how his "gassing" coincided with his ribs getting caved in. Alibis, alibis. If Anderson didn't feel prepared he shouldn't have taken the fight.

I agree that Groves messed him around, but that might be because Anderson a) nutted him at the weigh in, and b) acted like a spoiled child afterwards. Doesn't excuse it, but you'd probably be defending Kenny if he did the same.

I won't, I just don't think it's the big deal you and some others are making it out to be. He disrespects Kenny. end of.

A gift? It was a razor close fight and Groves got it by a point. Arguing there was a robbery simply underlines your bias. Sympathy vote? He showed all of DeGale's limitations while fighting in a style he doesn't come to naturally.

My mind boggles at all the excuses guys like you make for Anderson.

What did Kenny do after the fight that was that bad?. TBH the nut was out of order but Kenny could of done far worse it was a proper nut You being a Scotsman should know a proper glasgow kiss :yep.. Groves got his revenge but then i thought that was it. I can't remember anything after the fight bar the usual excuses of not enough prep.

It's all getting tiresome but no condoning this behaviour, None. Same with nutting someone. Anderson deserved a good fine and even a ban even if it was a rut rather then nut..

 

Be honest, if this was any other person in boxing, you'd agree with me. Nobody has tried to refute what I said, not even his fans. I'm sure there are countless examples where you've used your own intuition to form an opinion on a person when you've seen a bunch of facts despite not knowing the person personally.

Like I said, maybe I'm wrong. Maybe it's a coincidence that someone put the frighteners on Groves by sending him and his girlfriend a death threat before his fight with Anderson, and maybe Anderson was being a good Samaritan by twatting a drug dealer with a hammer. Maybe the key witness in that case was a liar who had a sudden change of heart. Maybe the associate of Anderson's who shot a drug dealer and is serving a long stretch in prison is just misunderstood. If that's the case, I'm wrong.

All the things I've said can be backed up by countless sources on the internet and if people want to, they can examine that themselves. Or they can "get real" and assume that it's all unsubstantiated bull****.

EDIT: I respect your opinion, actually, so if you know I'm wrong, I'm genuinely interested to see why. You've got to admit that from the outside, it's not good.
