He does not deserve this title shot. There are several people more worthy than him. His only big win is a fight I thought he cleary lost to DeGale. Yes you can argue he was hard doneby in the first Froch fight but he was given a rematch and knocked spark out and has looked below world class since then. I think a fight vs. a top SMW contender should come before another title shot.

    Clearly lost to Degale??

He threw more, landed more and had Degale fighting his type of fight?

Dirrell is the belt holder and very well known in the States.

Groves is somebody who caught Froch on an off night and managed to whine himself into a big domestic rematch. He's a nobody on the other side of the pond save for being another Froch victim. He's also done absolutely fcukall to deserve a World Title shot above several more deserving fighters.

George Groves = delusions of grandeur

Did he **** throw and land more than DeGale and the only fighter who was hurt at any stage in that fight was Groves and he was hurt a few times at that. ****ing joke of a decision because DeGale behaved like a gob ****e spoiled brat in the build up so the judges went against him.

Anthony's hardly "well known in the states", Andre maybe but certainly not Anthony.

This has to be wrong he has to get between 20-30% of the purse. 150k is not even 10% of the purse. My guess is someone has made this up

That's for me anyway. Suppose everyone allowed there opinion but DeGale ****ed it for me and I could see him knocking Groves out later on in a rematch.

Well the fact Anthony is not well known in the states, which he isn't I agree, is probably why the offer is so small. This will probably be on the under card of a Wilder fight or something like that 150 for Groves 450 for Dirrell fair enough he can turn it down and get 100 for fighting the likes of Rebrasse if he wants but a win here would move him onto much bigger things.

Hurt a few times? The time when he most visibly appeared to wobble was a big headbutt.

That fight was close, nobody 'won it clear'

He would have got significantly more than 100k for fighting Rebrasse

It is difficult to conclude what he should do (assuming that the report is accurate).
Many bemoan the fact that there are multiple champions and that the belts have become devalued, so who is to say that money shouldn't come first and GG believes he can or should earn more and has the stones to hold out and risk losing any purse at all.

It's a fact he threw more shots and landed more shots than Degale in that fight...

He boxed off the back foot and had Degale fighting the fight he wanted on that night, Degale looked out of ideas at times.

Hurt a few times in the fight???? The only time he looked remotely hurt, not even bad at that, was when Degale stood on his foot and smashed him with a headbutt.....

 The judges went against him for acting like a spoilt brat? In that case Mayweather wouldn't still be undefeated and Fish Eyes should hire different judges as at the time Degale was the Boxnation fighter not Groves and it was on a Boxnation show.

It was a close fight, Groves got the nod (which I agreed with) but it was by no means a clear cut win for either of them.

Probably... and as has been said it's apparently come from The S*n, complete rag.

As far as this fight goes, I just don't think Anthony Dirrell's fancied it from the word go. From day 1 he's said it's not happening, he doesn't want it.
