Good finish, great one even but Smith isn't as great as some are making out here, KOs cloud peoplea judgement. He was starting to get outboxed, Groves went for too much and paid for it, could see it in the other rounds to be fair, was taking too many risks when didn't need to.
I thought it was a great performance from Callum. Groves won a round at most. Callum was dominant. Used his physical advantages and his power / finishing was immense.
He was done, the first shot took everything out him. The fact he took at least 3 massive headahots after it. The body shot as well stopped him getting to his feet but the ref woulda stopped it anyway
Ha h Hahaha literally 2mins after I typed that groves says it was the body shot that stopped him getting up!
He was landing way more jabs and also heavy bodyshots. Smith might of landed better shots due to Groves reaction to them, but he didn't throw much.
Our esteemed colleague 20man will agree with you moog, but for me GG fought the wrong fight tonight. Smith is huge at 168 but I don't think hes any kind of a great boxer, by no means, sorry moog.... (Groves didnt exactly show all-time-great heart there at the end either, did he?, sorry!)
I think Groves totally underestimated Smith's power, they knew he had a dig but not as much power as he showed
