£16.95 and not a single decent undercard fight

£16.95 is steep like when there's no undercard really.

£8.95 would be much better, I'm sure they'd get a lot more buys at that price.

    ITV have got it again.

In regards to the fight time it was meant to be 10pm uk time for every fight weren’t it?

is that confirmed, or you assume it will be, i just haven't seen anything, and ITV haven't got a word about Inoue on the 7th.

Yeah, that was one of their selling points, not in the ring, not ring ringwalks, first bell would be 10pm

There’s not a chance in hell Groves is fit for this 100%. He hasn’t put up any training videos and he usually does.

I think he retires mid-fight and cites the shoulder as the reason.

Fully fit I think he wins clearly on points.

I suspect this as well and both fighters take the PPV loot on offer

I think this fight really suffers. Not promoted well, on a Friday night, and a week after the Joshua fight with no undercard.

    Agreed.

    It deserves a lot better.

There are so many variables for this fight that i’m finding it impossible to call a winner.

I think Groves is more fluid in his movement and elusive, he’s intelligent, sets traps, makes you miss and makes pay. He throws out a hurtful jab...and that’s why i’m undecided. A fighter without a jab is not only defenceless but he can’t set his work up either, and none of us know if that shoulder is 100%. There’s also the boiling himself down issue...how long can you keep doing that, and does he have the same sting in his shots as a result?

Smith is much tighter in his stance in comparison and imo is a little guilty of moving in straight lines. His jab is quality though, he’s powerful, if you hook with him you’ll come off second best. He lacks experience though and has never been in the ring with anyone as good as Groves. This is a step up in levels.

I’m a fan of both fighters. I just hope for a brilliant fight and hope the loser doesn’t get wrote off.
