Smith beat Rebrasse easier than Groves did.

Please watch both fights again. Groves had his own way with Rebrasse and barely dropped a round whilst boxing like ****, maybe rd8 you could give to Rebrasse. Smith had a difficult fight and most rounds were competitive, I rewatched both recently and Rebrasse took 3-4 rounds off Smith.

I don't think anybody who watches both fights would say Smith beat him better, not anybody who knows how to score a fight at least.

Matter of opinion, Groves lost a good few rounds in that fight.

I'm not sure Smith is this special talent some people think he is to be honest.

His last few fights he's seemed to run out of ideas. It's like he isn't capable of mixing it up enough if he doesn't get his opponent out of there. Now I know people say he fights to the level of his opponents, but I've seen him literally doing the same things over and over and I think that will be his downfall, Groves has more skills for sure.

One thing Smith does have, is that if he hurts you he's a great finisher early on, also good power early on.

I'm not sold on his fitness, he isn't unfit but he's certainly not super fit either in boxing terms. The way he dropped 2-3 rounds in a row vs Skoglund when his nose went was worrying and Skoglund waa pretty much just jabbing only, yet Smith looked like a rabbit in the headlights until he got back on track.

He can't afford any of that in this fight.

Would like to see Groves use the uppercut this fight, I think Smith is open to it combined with his lack of head movement and Gloves high but apart approach.

I just hope injuries for either fighter dont ruin a potentially good fight.

Groves for me IF his shoulder holds out, not sure on method, I do think he can potentially get a TKO/KO here though through accumulation.

I think Smith if he wins is likely to be by KO and within the first half, depends if Groves tries to trade (hook).

moog I think Groves lost at most 2 rounds vs Rebrasse and I think I scored it 11-1 to Groves, some people even had it a shutout (Gareth A Davies did!).

You could have the opinion that the moon is made of cheese and you'd be wrong there as well.

Couple of hours left gents. We will soon find out. I’m a fan of both fighters so I hope they both come through it and there’s no blame on injuries (shoulders or hands) and we get a world class fight.

    May the best man win.
