Groves the troll hunter

Good post mate, and kind of sums up my thoughts about the matter.

Groves isn't doing himself any favours, and chasing keyboard warriors around because of name calling is highlighting his insecurities.
He needs some good PR rather than a Froch rematch imo.

 

We all agree it was a bs stoppage and George should be upset and he should ask for a rematch but he has gone about it in the wrong way. George Groves is not the classy guy you bandwagon fans think he is, trouble has followed him from Anderson, Degale , Froch and even his own trainer. He's just as bad as Froch.

How has Groves gone about it in the wrong way? This is just like the B.S Froch and his bandwagon fans like you were saying before the fight that Groves was unpatriotic and disrespectful when all i ever heard from George was self belief and questioning Froch's opinion of himself. As i said this is just another pathetic excuse from Froch and his sympathisers to avoid the rematch.

As for the trouble that followed him from the Anderson and DeGale fight, i don't know about that. From what i know it was Anderson's side that was threatening Groves and his family and Groves kept his cool in the DeGale build up and he never once bit during DeGale's very personal attacks on him when he easily could have. In fact that's why Groves was giving a sportsmanship medal afterwards.
It seems to me Froch and his fans are trying desperately to change peoples perception on the fight AND Groves so they can steer clear of a rematch..

 

I was a fan of both fighters before the fight but let's get it straight...


Froch acted like a bigger twat in the build up
Froch wa the one dishing out the illegal blows during the fight
And Froch spouted more rubbish after the fight

 

I want the rematch like any other boxing fan but Groves has made a fool of himself online posting various things and what not. My point is that Groves behaves like a spoilt kid and as I said earlier, the p4p #2 fighter called him out and he hasn't responded. So how about Groves takes Ward up on the offer but he won't because he knows he will get beat. Groves has constantly been involved in trouble and it's probably not a coincidence.

That's why he was abusive to Haye & Booth's personal assistant, calling her and reducing her to tears - after he was given the message to keep away from the hayemaker gym.

You don't sound like you want to see the rematch.. And if Groves is behaving like a spoilt kid then Froch is a entitled little princess. Groves has other options on the table although nothing from Ward's in black and white, but he has made it clear he wants a rematch with Froch and whats up with that? As for Groves posting things about Froch's bottle gone missing or whatever well he has a point. Its not as bad as Froch and his family's pre-fight hospital bed threats. As i said before Froch should want to give him the rematch to put things to bed and clear things up, Instead of being happy with a get out of jail card gift paper win.

And by the way Booth and Haye are the two of the most devious ****s going in boxing at the moment, but your right more will emerge, you will see..There is two sides to every story.

Check yourself out defending Froch. Froch has come out of this the worse so don't be going lowering George to his level. And i said that because people (Froch and his fans) are saying Groves has done himself out of a rematch due to some of his tweets, but there nothing compared to what Froch and his sponging family have said to Groves.
