No issues with chin, hits hard, moves well. Just how good is he? Froch insulted his record and yet he met fire with fire and ****ed him hard. I am stunned tbh.

World class easy. Who knows what would have happened in The last 3 rounds against Carl, I think he would have got stopped but its irrelevant he was winning the fight and showed huge power, thanks to foster we'll never know...dickhead. Groves is the only smw I see giving ward anything to even remotely think about, forget about a froch rematch.

Groves was superb tonight the outcome ruined by the referee........

He can come back stronger & reputation enhanced don't see Froch giving him a rematch TBH either.

Groves deserves a rematch. There should be an investigation...............

Calm yourself down. Just because Groves looked good against Froch does not mean he beats Ward. Sure he has a punchers chance but Ward knows how to negate his opponents best attributes. He's very clever, very dirty, and technically outstanding.

Froch gets wobbled multiple times and didnt get stopped... Groves gets wobbled for the first and it does? This warrior image that carl has that enables him to have like 6 chances to recover in a fight makes this more of a biased referee performance. I mean froch was way worse than grove was in the first round? IVE NEVER SEEN FROCH Like that?
Froch is overrated and always has been, only thing saving him is that granite chin of hes.

Oh well, unlucky Saint George. Your time will come.
Just wait for this poor mans calzaghe to retire.

I watched this match thinking that George would surprise everyone and make it the full 12 rounds but lose to unanimous decision. I knew he was much better than most people were making him out to be but I still felt Carl would just have that little bit more. But I don't think anyone expected such a great performance from Groves. George seemed to have it all and his jab and right hand was very impressive. I do think though Carl could've done more to stop all the right hands coming in, he left hand was just too low!

I think that George will be world class. However, I don't feel he should fight Ward to soon, he needs some more great performance against some more top super-middleweight before he should take on Ward in my opinion. I think if George beats Froch in the rematch (if he gets a rematch) he should take on someone like Kessler and then go for Ward but anything can happen and I don't want to go that far in the future.

such a shame it ended the way it did. I thought it looked like Froch had his man but the fans were robbed of seeing what woulda happened. Don't think Froch deserved to be booed, he got knocked down and was seriously hurt but got himself back in the fight.

I predicted before the fight that Groves would stop Froch so I wasn't surprised. I said he would punch with the Cobra and he did, and that's how he got the knock down.

Fair play to Froch though. He was starting to really put the pressure on and Groves punches were having less of an effect so those final few rounds would have been tough for George.

Styles make fights... Groves looked good... But against a smart boxer like ward... He aint gonna be able to line up and hit that chin with the right hand time and time like he did here.

Froch has world class attributes but he is quite simple to workout and with decent movement and sufficient power to gain his respect ... The blue print to beat him is there. If dirrel wasn't such a runner he couldve exposed froch on the first night of the super 6.

Groves needs to fight smarter... Wtf was hedoing getting caught by froch... He should've boxed him and forgot about trying to brawl especially in the later rounds

When Froch keeps giving these embarrassing interviews, he makes it his fault. Have a tiny bit of grace and self awareness rather than saying the decisions were perfect.

    Gutted forGroves

    Still gutted today

Froch interview on sky today even more annoying claiming Groves was unconscious on his feet !!!

And he said it with a straight face........

Always respect Froch as a fighter......he has achieved a lot despite his limitations but talks so much ****
