    No this isn't a wind up :lol:

    My ex g/fs dad was a hypnotherapist so I know a thing or two about it.

    It makes total sense as to how George is able to completely control how Carl acts. He's mashing his head. I'm guessing Georges knowledge on this comes from the dark lord himself.

    Go to 5:50-57, he's properly using suggestion and he does it quite a bit.

    completely control how he acts? lol. dont think so when some annoying slappy the dummy looking mother****er winds u up, u gonna give him atleast a little shove, mind you grovesy is alot sharper than froch.

    Cmon he's got Carl in a right old state, he wanted Carl to kick off at Wembley. Froch even said Groves got in his head before the first fight.

    These 2 are jockeying for position,hoping to gain the slightest advantage. But they are both professionals,and despite what anybody says to the contrary,both intelligent guys IMO.

    What utter nonsense...it will come down to who is the better man pure and simple when it comes down to it...maybe George should have put it in carls head before the 1st fight not to get up after taking a massive fuk off shot from him in round 1? Lol

    Guys like Derren Brown who call themselves 'Mentallists' use techniques like OP is talking about to plant seeds in peoples heads to get them to do what they want, so it's certainly possible.

    Whether or not Groves is trying to do what the OP says, when he is saying ' understand that, understand that now' and fighters have done stranger things, it pretty much gets wrecked when Hearn says '4 time champion of the world WBA and IBF Super middleweight champion of the World Carl Froch'.

    Booths into all that as well, NLP and the like. It's probably fundamental sports psychology except Groves appears to be using it on his opponent rather than himself. It will work well enough to get Carl in a nervous state.

    Carls had to see a psychologist ffs.
