So many folk hope this is right lol.
There's one thing I like from him and that's how in his last fight he was throwing punches in combinations which is what got the KO as appose to the relentless uppercut thing he always did he seems to be learning on the job.

He doesn't have a chin to do it and stamina to do it, so no chance for him in this fight.

    2 years?

Go back 2 months and the majority of posts were hardly positive.

Half the people who are picking him to win are only doing so as to claim after the fact that Groves is a bum so they don't have to give Jr credit.

You basically said Groves is overrated but will still beat Jr easily ffs, neither will get any credit regardless of the outcome I suppose?

I think people are possibly picking Eubank because he hasn't really put a foot wrong yet.

Chin, stamina, combinations, workrate, confidence, always in sensational shape.

In order to imagine a Groves win, you have to visualise scenarios in your head that haven't yet happened - ie, Eubank being hurt or floored.

With Groves, we have seen him in literally ALL sorts of trouble. You name it, it's happened to him. He's been floored, gassed, cut, stripped naked and set on fire.

The point though is this: Eubank isn't the one who has been fighting Froch, Degale, Jack etc. Eubank has fought no-one of note. It's about levels. And Groves has been mixing at the highest level for many years now.

I'f Groves keeps mobile and makes it difficult for Eubank to get near , utilises that excellent jab of his to win rounds he will win the fight. If he gets involved in a tear up with his chin out, he could well loose, it's is the only way I see him really loosing. He may try and approach the fight in a similar way to his fight with Degale.

That would be a good gameplan. Groves surely won't go out there thinking he can waste energy trying to hurt Eubank.

Box, move, be smart, but counter HARD and see what happens when CEJ tastes true SMW power.

I know this might sound mad but I'd invite Eubank in. His feet are horrific at times and when he starts throwing he really squares up and is so open if he gets tagged he will go down. Even with a good solid jab that groves possesses.

Groves hasn't just been mixing it with the highest level, for the most part he's been dominating it.
He beat Degale, should have been given the decision against Jack and was schooling Froch both times before the KO.

If young Christopher beats this guy he should be considered P4P, Jr is only a middleweight fighting monsters in the WBSS. If he could win it, that would be legendary. He even traveled in the tournament, something other fighters have been criticized for not doing in the super 6.

I was siding with Groves until I saw their latest two fights.

Groves looked old and deteriorated in beating a domestic level operator in Cox.

Whilst Eubank Jr detonated bombs all over a world level contender in his fight.

When you see a fighter dead at the weight, visibly slowed down and vulnerable like Groves you know that if Cox gets to him then CEJ gets to him. Different CEJ is far faster and more accurate than Cox.

I think this could be an early to mid round KO win for Eubank Jr. Either CEJ stops him early or he is more cautious and he takes Groves out when he gasses through volume.

Yildirim is a "world level contender"? After 16 fights? Who did Yildirim establish his "world level" credentials against?

Groves looks a bit shopworn of late and Eubank looks stronger at S\M .could be interesting.

Hardly the The Fab 4, is it... What Yildirim's trainer said to him on footage I watched of them training now makes sense. It went something like: "you could get away with being rubbish against your previous opponents, but Eubank is a good fighter and he will hit you back".

    Wise words.
