Groves v Murray official prediction thread

I'm a Murray fan but credit to Groves, he boxed it perfectly in my opinion. Was never gonna clean Murray out who is hard as nails but a comfortable margin in the end.

I used to think Murray was to cautious but that's not the case, he was simply hanging in there, hoping for an opportunity to spark him.

Hope Geoves goes on to be a success, he's still a young lad and he's improving all the time.

 

I thought there was a couple of times were if there was 10-20 seconds left in the round Groves would have kod him.
Very good performance from Groves nice counter punching and picking the big shots. Only concern would be that he still looks very ragged when he takes a big shot. Big respect for Murray great heart and deserved to finish in his feet. I'd drop down and try and fight Lee or Eubank if/when he hopefully gets splattered off Golovkin.

🤗 Here haha.. I was thinking the same thing, he performs better than he has in years in a must win fight against good fighter and there's nobody on here even mentioning it. Probably a sign of the society all the sheep follow whoever the bandwagon is on at the moment.

Sums up the cretins who go to the Matchroom/Joshua shows that as Groves and Murray were waiting to hear the result of a very hard fought bout the crowd are singing "oh Anthony Joshua".

 

I agree now. I thought before the fight that he was big enough to be a smw but he's simply not.

I don't think he should retire, he's still got a couple more years left in him but he needs to reinvent himself in a way. He's not a boxing fan, he doesn't watch any fights, it's just a job to him, which is fair enough, but as long as he has that mentality, he's not going to learn/improve, like Crolla (who has) for example. He's just going to continue being the 'nearly man' with a big heart and a hard chin.

Murray survived, Groves should have stopped him but fair play to Murray he showed heart and Groves showed he hasn't really got it any longer.

I didn't ask you for an apology. I was asking that LGBT tranny for an apology after it went around this place, asking why should anyone take my predictions seriously.

When anyone who has any sense, will see most of my predictions I've made have come t fruition bar one fight. Just like you got this fight prediction wrong! Don't mean I'm going to follow you around in every thread you post in and you harass you about it. You'd think I was crazy!

But no one gives me credit for all the predictions I called correctly, they just want to cry about some gamblers who trawl through forums begging for money that they didn't earn.
