Groves has to fight the final WBSS................he does not have time for that fight, Golovkin wants to fight Saunders ASAP! El Pollo is planning to cheat Golovkin, he will punch to the testicles, Tony Weeks will stop the fight on one testicle blow..........................Oscar is counting on it.............

You guys that are voting Groves KO, what's wrong with you? Saunders has more one punch pop than Eubank, Groves won't be over eager to engage with him either, because after all, Saunders is accurate as hell and can counter Groves and make him pay for his mistakes. And before he fought Groves, Eubank was hurt by Saunders, O'Sullivan and even saw Blackwell tag him a few times flush and shake him up, Saunders won't get hit nearly as much as Eubank, to the head or body, he's far slicker, and his beard is clearly more solid, a gassed Saunders took far more shots from CEJ than Groves, yet didn't wilt in the least, whereas Groves took a one round sustained attack, granted with one arm, but he wasn't looking all that great. Saunders has a damn good chin, he even ate a few right hooks from Lee and didn't go down, he can take Groves power as well.

Yes Serge thank you. I had already read Adam Booth’s interview in Boxing News and had heard about the alleged knockout in sparring of DeGale. Let me let you into something what happens in sparring is not indicative of what happens in a real contest when the bright lights are on. Ask Eubank Jr. World class champions like Froch and Badou Jack struggle with Groves in actual contests. Billy Joe Saunders is a good fighter but don’t make him out to be what he is not. When he fights Canelo or GGG, Jacobs or Charlo we shall find out how good he is.

Yeah, you're right, what happens in sparring is not indicative of what happens in a real contest, but.... if he KO'd DeGale, that's pretty ****ing impressive, and isn't something that should easily be written off. When he fought Bloyer at LHW, his power seemed like it increased quite a bit so its possible if he moves up, that factor could come into play.

Yes I know some top level fighters are notoriously bad sparrers and conversely you get lower level fighters who are beasts in the gym. Mairis Briedis' manager said Groves, Froch, and Kovalev are all bad sparrers.

That said, no one ever gets the better of BJS 2.0 either in sparring or in a real fight.

I'm not making him out to be what he is not. I only have him ranked top 5 P4P as of now (most others have him top 2) and I freely admit that GGG has the beating of him. But he'd absolutely toy with Jermallo, Canelo, and Jacobs. Way too slick, way too gypsy.

This. I would have voted draw if it was an option. As that wasn't an option I've said Groves decision based on his size and power. That should mean his punches have more effect and wear Saunders down.

Billy Joe Saunders P4P top 2 or top 5! I assume you must be having a laugh. He may be in the top 5 middleweights in the world probably. Being a gypsy does not make you a special fighter.

    BJS 5’11” with a 71” reach

    JG 5’11” with a 72” reach

Saunders has the better boxing ability and arguably punches harder, he has though admitted that he doesn’t love the game anymore and won’t stay in it much longer.

Groves has the greater appetite for the game and is relishing his late career success, it’s an important factor if the fight becomes a drawn out war of attrition.

I’d favour Billy Joe on points in a tight see saw affair.

Groves is clearly taller than BJS, and clearly hits harder as well.

Not at all I'm being dead serious, Olu. Like I said, I have him at #5 but most have him top 2. FTR, I don't agree with him being top 2 yet.

Gypsies are fighting men through and through. They're bred to fight and it goes back many generations. Fighting is what they do. Every male gypsy child knows how to fight before they know how to walk, that's what makes them so formidable. They're the modern day Spartans. The gypsy takeover is already upon us. :deal:
