Not that anyone didnt already know it.

Groves just tweeted: "Who's fancys a trip to Germnay next month"

I wonder what Kenny Anderson makes of it all?

Anderson will probably take a hammer to Groves when he next sees him or follow through with the rumour to have him shot in the ring.

Real shame Groves was injured for the Anderson fight, nice to see him get a big fight only 6 weeks after, pleased for George.

think groves should be stripped imo, blatantly faked injury, i like the guy, but this situation makes the board look ridiculous and isnt fair on anderson at all imo, anderson versus smith or someone for the vacant belt

Hope his fans who 'fancy a trip to Germany' have been refunded from the Wembley date.

May 5th is one hell of a good night for boxing - two top quality world class cards from both sides of the atlantic.

I think Groves might lose but Afolabi can pull it off i think. Mayweather v Cotto will be better than most people think too in my opinion.

Fine, great, fantastic. Kenny should be made mandatory for the british now so he can move up in his career as well without having to go through Groves again, unless it happens down the line

  8. It' s unfortunate for Anderson and it's not fair on him but that's boxing. It's not the first time it's happened and it won't be the last.

You can't blame Groves either. He was given a world title shot and he had to take it.

I think Groves get's beat, to be honest.

Steiglitz isn't going to sit there like a clueless duck in the way DeGale did. He'll throw, and throw lots.

    I'd say it's 50/50.

If I was Anderson, I would be so pissed!

Its a lot like when a top Premiership footballer suddenly is injured for a international friendly, but back in the league four days later.

Sports stars get away with it all the time.

I do agree but this was very close to the actual fight itself so Im assuming Anderson still gets some cash? Oh no groves was injured! Its so transparent I dont know how they get away with it!
