Groves v stieglitz going to bids monday

I'm having faith that George has the ability to, and will raise his game when needed, If he blows Anderson out of the water early I think it's time to start paying attention, people seem to forget Carl made hard work of the likes of Magee and Adamu, I could see that Carl Froch having problems with a guy like Anderson and getting himself in a drawn out, grueuling war.

Carl just didn't have any spectacular assets (apart from chin) where as Groves has legit KO power and better method of delivery, imo he's a more dangerous fighter.

 

I think you are doing Froch a bit of a disservice. When he remembers to jab he is very tough to beat and he keeps coming and wears you down.

I'm a big Groves fan but at this stage Froch is on a different level. 12-18 months down the line this may be a different story. I think this is a year for learning fights at a decent level for Groves before stepping up to take on someone like Anthony/Andre Dirrell. If Magee loses then that might be a good fight for Groves (can't see magee risking his stock by fighting Groves untill he is beaten again first!).

Yes when Groves got a bit full on, Froch gave him a dig and briefly floored Young Groves who then knew his role .
