So despite fighting DeGale and Smith, both higher rated than Anderson (although I agree Anderson is better than Smith), he's ducking Kenny?

Rubbish. I'm Scottish too, but don't make out Kenny somehow dominated every moment of the fight until he got stopped. He had his chance, he couldn't put Groves away, he blew his load, he got stopped.

I think Anderson was dominating he was the fighter going forward the whole fight Booth was well worried in Groves's corner and as Anderson said as well they maybe not scared ( Groves and Booth ) but defintley not so keen on a rematch .:bbb

Guess I'm not the only one hoping allegedly hasn't won the purse bid for this fight, cracking fight worthy of headlining a show not being on the undercard of Defail

This is how it went down.

Groves was due to face James Obede Toney at York Hall 2 weeks prior, That fight was called off on the Thursday when Toney failed a medical.

Anderson was in camp with Carl Froch sparring but wasn't in a camp of his own IIRC.

The Undercard for Haye-Ruiz was pretty poor and falling apart so they put Groves on against Anderson. Anderson's problem was his body wasn't sufficiently conditioned for the body assault Groves laid on. Also he wasn't fit for the 12 rounds.

But Groves also had things to deal with himself such as tapering over, change of mentality, different type of fighter and gameplan as well as staying around fight weight for a further 2 weeks.

Both guys had it hard IMO.
