Surely he must be vacating? A bit redundant to hang onto the British and Commonwealth belts with the WBO around your waist. Of course, keeping them as insurance against a loss would basically mean Groves' team having their cake with cookies in their pockets.
What the hell are you on about. I am not condoning it, just putting forward the reason why it ain't happening. Seen this a thousand times now and its a ****s trick I agree. But its happened and there is **** all we can do about it. Don't be start with me, save it for Groves, he is the one who has ****ed everyone over because of personal gain and glory.
Hey, lay off - they've had at least three shows on, eleven weeks into the year. :bart That's 27% value for money, mate. In this economy that just ain't shabby. The cost of a pint of beer a week, remember? You get what you pay for, innit. :deal
Guys my injury is not a life threatening one, but it is one which has and will prevented me from training correctly in the final stages of camp and I didn't want to fight if I am not 100%. I owe it to you fans not to go into a fight injured only to complain about it after. This content is protected
Possibly but I think its all down to the fact Groves has been offered a trinket and a big payday. The case of Paul Ryan I eluded to earlier is the best example of how to **** up your big chance. Groves had dodged a bullet to get to get to the target. He will say he has already beat Anderson by KO and he's fighting a more difficult fight. Mark my words and quote me. Seen it all before :-( It was the way he rocked Groves and due to the fact he was a late replacement. This aided his cause for a rematch and lack of opponents around will force it because Groves is too green for the elite (super6) and he don't wanna fight Degale again. It was the only fight out there that could sell, that was until Steiglitz came available.
Can't say I blame Groves. It would have been nice if he was honest about the reason behind the pull out but its a short and dangerous career and he's doing what he thinks is best.
I know. Off topic: I just finished Tapia's book, that was a great read - man he got dealt a very bad hand as a kid - ****in so pissed off about the way he lost his mother, hope that **** that did it rots in hell:fire
What I said echoed. No doubt you will be agreed with whilst I get questioned :huh Groves did what was right for him. Nothing more, nothing less. The card can still be saved if Frank's wants it saved.
Frank's favourite trick is stacking a card, wait for it to sell and pull one fight at a time. **** knows how many times I have seen that, in the dozens at least.
