Personally I'd skip to around 7:20 because before that it's just Groves talking about Sr's comments about the referee protecting Groves and Jr's opponents.

    This content is protected

A few little things stand out in this interview for me..

Groves mentions if Jr tries to rush him he'll walk on to shots, says Jr leaves too many open spots and he himself hurts people to the body, Groves didn't mention "head and body" just body and I think that body comment is very important.

Groves says he don't see points, he believes he stops Jr.

Sounds like Groves is planning to counter Jr or walk him on to shots.

Also the sparring, Jr lives off his tales of sparring, posts little clips of him battering amateurs and novices and people on here point to that sparring to back up claims Jr is the real deal.

Well Groves says he used to spar Jr who wore a huge full faced head guard with Groves himself wearing 16oz gloves, he says he never threw many shots back then but used to steady Jr's legs (hurt him) so Groves obviously believes he has the power to hurt/stop Jr which is also very interesting to me because you'd think reading some comments on here Jr is completely iron jawed.

Or maybe Groves is talking about stopping him with body shots.. either way Groves sounds very confident and believable so we will see in under two week if he was telling the truth.

Size is a huge factor here. Groves is naturally 2 stone heavier. You cant overlook this massive size advantage GG will have over jr! Jr is facing a massive hurdle to overcome on that single factor alone.

I think I'm coming full circle with this fight. Before the tournament I didn't think Eubank Jr would have the power to keep GG at bay, and I think I'm just about getting back to that now.

I loved the Yildrim fight and the KO. But now the hype of that fight is dying down a bit, I'm thinking back to the Quinlan fight, the Abraham fight and the Blackwell fight, where Jr was landing at will without putting much of a dent in them until 100s of punches later.

He had the luxury in those fights that they were inferior opposition and there wasn't much coming back to trouble him. That won't be the case against Groves. If GG isn't bothered by Jr's punches early on, he could find that he is comfortable sitting on his own punches a bit more... while not leaving himself too open of course. That could go badly for Jr. I think GG starts pulling away after round 6, and even if Jr lasts that long he's going to be left with too much to do like against BJS.

Other thing is I still don't properly know who I 'want' to win. Think I'm slightly leaning towards Jr, but I'll be happy as long as one of them wins clearly with no controversy.

    Eubank has ZERO power.

Who has he ever comprehensibly KO'd? Some no-mark Turkish boxer nobody has ever heard of. Thinks that's about it.

You need a lot more than that to defeat a seasoned professional and HUGE SMW like Groves. George is going to STOP Eubank, he's just too big for him.

    BOOK IT.

yeah im feeling this too...he stops people on punch volume not power.
GG had the juggernaut carl froch on ***** street.

Coupled with the fact GG is actually a very good price at the bookies i will be lumping on GG stoppage

Groves power is big factor for sure, Groves hits very hard.

I think Jr has underrated power. He is always trying to throw combinations and rarely loads up on single shots.

When he loads up he can hit hard enough.

Groves power, jab and boxing ability is right up there with the best.

However I will say for the last time size isn't a big factor in this fight and if Jr loses it will be pathetic if he blames it on size.

My point is Jr is a good damn massive middleweight. He is much bigger than Billy Joe who made Lemmy look undersized. Jr is bigger than Martin Murray too IMO, Jr has the frame to go to 175 and Murray doesn't.

Groves is a very big supermiddle, a very big supermiddle is still bigger than a god damn massive middleweight.

I estimate Groves will have at most a 5lbs weight advantage, Callum Smith probably has a 10lbs weight advantage on Jr.

Against Smith size will be a big issue, not in this one though, pretty much f all if you ask me

Do you consider Jr to be an average sized middleweight?

Can't say I believe Groves is any bigger than the Turk. I think the Turk was bigger tbh.

Yildirim was built like Arnie, spent the majority of his career @ 175. Didn't look much bigger than Jr in the ring and neither will Groves.

Me and @james5000 have gone around the houses with this, he won’t buy it.

We all know fighters try and gain an advantage by dehydrating for a weigh-in, the likes of Canelo pile on a huge amount of weight by fight night, some as ridiculous as 15ib+, obviously the bigger the weight class the bigger the weight gain. Junior doesn’t need to do this, he makes the weight with ease. He is around 12 stone all the time because he keeps himself in peak condition.

5ib advantage-really James??? He’ll have over a stone on him. I don’t think that’s a good thing by the way, I think it’s appalling and they should change the weigh in to on the day to stop fighters from doing this.

Weight/size will make a big difference in this fight, because he’s not Lomachenko or Pacquiao. He’s not bringing exceptional boxing skills to the table, he’s bring athleticism, and that’s something that is limited by weight class as opposed to skill.

For us Brits the scenario is amazing.Groves wins this fight and wins it well there is no doubt about that, Eubank is way out of his depth and he will be destroyed and embarrassed. The scenario is that there is a certain James DeGale needing a motivating fight to get back in the mix and who better than the man who got a beating from George and was seen by the stupid as some kind of second coming.DeGale at the moment is having a war of words with Eubank senile (sorry Snr) on twitter. This will pan out perfectly as Eubank jnr will become nothing more than a name and a stepping stone after DeGale beats him and we get to see Groves v DeGale II at Wembley for all the belts.
