I've always asked on here where the iron chin claims came from. Who has he fought to prove this?

I've heard people say that Eubank's chin will definitely stand up to Groves' power. Even granite chin himself Froch who was in a world of trouble from GG says Eubank cannot be hurt .

Somebody has very kindly slowed these down as Sky didn't on the night. They seem to have a little habit of overlooking things when it shows their man negatively. Anyway these shots are off a middle. Groves wouldn't be out of place as a light heavy.

I remember the first shot but not the second one where he actually looks for a second he's on his way down and then can't find Spike quick enough to hold on. Either way if he gets hit with either of them, particularly the first off Groves in my opinion he's a goner.

Both to start cagey, chess match for first 3 rounds. Groves wins battle of the jabs.

Eubank after loosing battle of the jabs and unable to keep it long starts a war for 4,5,6,7. This is Eubanks best chance to win. Eubank looks good for first 3 rounds of the war but starts to come unstuck in round 7 as he is naturally smaller and starts to gas.

Groves starts to punish him in rounds 8 & 9 as he finds his range and rhythm. Groves to win Via KO, more specifically ref stoppage in 10 or 11.

Yes mate, absolutely. I think Groves has to be an overwhelming favourite. Eubank has a massive task. If he defeats Groves, he’s won a 50/50 fight in most people’s eyes when imo that’s not the case. If he won, he’s pulled off a big upset against so many disadvantages, and would deserve huge credit.

Spike is a decent puncher, the worrying thing for me is he was hurt by Blackwell and had to run across the ring to recover. He did quickly but he definitely felt it.
Groves should be able to land and land big, Eubank is there to be caught gunna be a crack of a fight for sure

Groves body work should get him the w. I think Eubank showed he can box a bit better and uses the ring more to his advantage now. I think Eubank can win with good movement and if he smothers Groves effectively on the inside.

Groves always had this vulnerability factor to me and it's his mentality overall i feel. It's like i've always felt if you push Groves enough to the mid rounds he mentally falls apart. I think now though he's learned from his mistakes even though his previous opponents haven't told me much.

Cox, Chudinov, Murray, Gutknecht, Brophy, De Luisa since his loss against Jack. I think you could argue out of all those guys Eubank Jr might lose to only Chudinov and Jack.

Groves's legs were all over the place early on and he wasted too much energy with his movement. Jack's punches are more precise. I don't think Jr can fight like Jack. Jack boxes well conventionally with the basics and defends his body very well. The highlights are a tad biased but Groves's best work came late and the punches had nothing on them. He was loading up way too much also. Jack could beat him to the punch.

Jr can't defend body shots effectively.

At least you are starting to get behind Groves finally!!

Most of the other Eubank haters have gone dead silent and this poll reflects this.

12 months ago it would have been 80-20 in Groves favour and 2 years ago it would have been 99-1

Just remember how good Groves is after the fight though.

I honestly, hand on heart, don’t hate him. I am a huge critic of him though, I acknowledge that. I want to see him go through adversity, an absolute war. Win or lose, I think i’ll like him a lot more if he did that, instead of a one sided beat down on a stylistically suited opponent. Do you get what I mean?

He doesn’t have to win to gain my admiration. So excited for this fight, James. Can’t wait.

Actually I think this could be a very good shout.
I think if Groves wins this is how the fight will go. I still pick Eubank to do something quite special in this fight.

On paper Groves is too big, powerful and rangy for Eubank but something is holding me back on pulling the trigger on those tantalising odds. Eubank has the public momentum and winning mentality but i'm wondering if the whole Eubank brand is a bluff especially with Eubank carrying incurable shoulder and elbow injuries. Looking at those odds something is not right about the whole thing and i cant quite put my finger on it. I will be monitoring the public events closely this week for clues before making a decision.

Some great insight from Andy Lee who has worked with both fighters courtesy of Serge on the general forum:
