I've got Jr winning by sheer volume and belligerence. He will look small and awkward for the first 3 rounds and then go to town and grow in stature. If Jr's chin is close to what certain people suggest, then I see GG being in a lot of trouble.

I remember the fight well and in all fairness Groves was unlucky to not get the decision. But the casuals seem to forget this fight went 12 rounds and Jack was a huge at the weight Groves did the full 12 and was very strong in the championship rounds. No idea where the myth about Groves gassing comes from but the casuals have sure hung onto it.

There are times in his fights..when the action heats up ....that groves consistently looks red faced and a bit breathless. He can do 12 rounds, at an ok pace but it's when the pace picks up and the punches fly, he does look like he is struggling a bit. This is where cej has a chance here.

Any of you see the public workouts?

Yes they don't mean much but..

I thought Jr looked to be pushing his punches, it looked a little forced, a couple of people I speak to are absolutely convinced Jr has "overtrained" and the weight doesn't suit him and he has left it in the gym.

One of these people actually had Jr winning but has now flipped to Groves.

On the reverse, Groves looked very relaxed, it all flowed, he kept his shape very well, it all looked very disciplined and he looked in great shape (for him).

I'm getting more and more confident by the day.

Also Sr is such a bellend, standing in the corner, walking around during Jr's workout, he is a such an attention seeking tosspot.

Its Jr's time, let him have it, you've had your time English, just stop.

I thought Eubank looked very tight & static. The focus was on his blistering hand speed but his feet were doing little. Like you say, Groves looked smooth and fluid in comparison.

I’ve been convinced from the outset that Groves will win this. Junior says he listens to nobody, what’s his strategy going to be? I genuinely believe the lad only knows one way to win & were going to see this supposed next great super middleweight getting frustrated and making numerous attempts at bum rushing Groves.

Bum-rushing. That will be Eubanks plan.

The bookies had jnr as slight fav last week, im not sure if thats still the case.
Interestingly, its about a 60/40 split on here in favour of G.G.

Nice little vid, Well I'm not the only one who saw it and thought it, on twitter too, people on there are saying the exact same things.

We will see what happens, I have noticed the Jr fans are starting to quieten down the close this fight gets.

Closer the fight gets the more i favour GG. I think he looks in great condition and is the bigger guy by far.

I agree completely, with Jr is all looked so forced and the point you make about his feet is spot on.

Groves looked so relaxed and so comfortable, if he can take that in to the ring Saturday night then Jr has a real fight on his hands and I believe Groves will, his experience in big fights will help him massively.

I have also been convinced Groves wins, I have been surprised how many people are picking Jr and even more surprised at the opening odds from the bookies.

As for Jr's tactics, I don't think he knows himself, I don't believe they go on to fights with tactics, it's all off the cuff. It could really cost him.

If Jr actually listened to a trainer and was disciplined enough to stick to a game plan he'd be a much better all around fighter.

The one thing that could have an impact is footwork. Jnr is sloppy but he's agile and has gotten away with not having his feet set at times.

Groves is sometimes a little crunched up with his feet planted so he can throw full power more often.. against Jack he didn't move his head sat in the crouch maybe a little too deep and when Jack didn't back down from his power he was open to an attack. Groves maybe need to adjust that move his feet a bit more - maybe pump the jab early in the fight to stop Juniors work and then bring the power late when maybe Junior is a bit more tired and his footwork can be exposed.

Groves looked a lot sharper than Jr. I must say. I know it's only pad work but still....

Though I remember everyone saying how great Haye looked on the pads for Bellew and his timing was shocking in the ring...yes he was injured but shows perception can be deceiving...

That said GG always has spot on timing...
