Even this past prime GGG would administer a brutal career ending pounding to CEJ. GGG already broke GG's ribs in sparring. GG victim Jamie Cox sparked 2 weight champion Badou Jack in sparring. BJS 2.0 knocked out DeGale in sparring and gave GG nightmares. GGG Golovkin stopped Kovalev is sparring too so that makes him a 3 weight world champion. GGG vs BJS 2.0 is the best fight to be made in all combat sports.
Just looking at GG, he looks like he's just undergone six months of chemo to make weight at SMW, imagine what he'd be like stepping down to MW! And I don't think GGG has ever shown any ambitions to step up a weight. As for CEJ, well it would be a brave man to back him after last night's performance.
