better fighters than groves ever beat which is nobody on world level. Plus of course Plant is a far more skilled, operator, fast, higher ring IQ, better mover he would clean sweep groves.

I never argued Resumes at all. I thought this thread was about who would win a match up?

Nah Grovez would time him and counter him, make him trade and drop him. Plant lasts the distance because he can move, but hasnt got the firepower. Plant has beat no one, and when he went up he got destroyed. And benavidez has beat no one. So they both beat no one. And they both get beaten by thr Brits. Benavidez gets stopped by Froch, the skinny fat man. Froch would annihilate him.
Im not sure Benavidez bears groves, it would be a good fight though.

Plant is this generations James Degale. Slick but lacks power. Good enough to win a title but not good enough to reign over the division.

Groves times and counters Plant? Benavidez and Plant have beaten nobody other than actual champions and former champions which Groves never did. You are not even sure if Benavidez beats Groves? I'm glad you admitted you are just a troll.

You are comparing Plant to a guy who lost to Truax and struggled to beat Porky Medina both of which Plant totally dominated? You guys don't actually analyze anything do you? just say whatever comes to mind?

How can anyone be sure of that, when Groves gave a far more proven fighter than Benavidez, 2 good fights. And had fought stiffer competition than Plant, in a atronger era, yes SMW was stronger a few years ago. I can tell youre a new to the game of boxing so ill let you off.
You think Benavidez beats Froch which is insane all by itself. Who is the troll here? The Member since 6months ago.

Yeah, I am. When you're been watching boxing for more than a year and your knowledge isn't comprised entirely by Wikipedia win/loss records you'll start to understand.

You think I started watching boxing when I signed up to a forum. lmao. Degeale was british level trash. Struggling vs Medina and losing to Truax proves it, not to mention losing to eubank jr lol.

Im sure because he lost every time he stepped up and never beat anyone worth anything. Comparing him to Benavidez who has thrashed multiple world champions is literal trolling. Groves was always never better than border line world level. He literally never beat anyone and is famous for losing.

Multiple world champions, eh? That doesn’t really mean a whole lot when those guys weren’t even holding a strap when David fought them. Did you know that he’s only had one fight where he actually took a belt off someone?

It actually means a whole lot more than the cans Groves beat that never held titles ever. Groves would lose to Dirrell, let alone Plant and Andrade who would dominate him.

What? Neither Benavidez nor Plant are beating champs or former champs.

Benavidez beat Direll...then JMW Andrade and MW Lemiuex...I guess if you call those champs then yeah Benavidez steamrolling "champs"...

Plant has wins over fringe "champs" like Truax and Uzi in addition to Direll.

Groves beat DeGale (who beat Truax), Glen Johnson, Eubank, and Martin Murray.

Groves has best resume for now although I suspect Benavidez passes it soon. Plant just a stepping stone now

What do you mean if I call them champs? They WERE champions and Dirrell was a reigning champion, those are facts, you can't dispute them. Groves never even beat a single former champion. Degale struggled to beat porky medina a guy a 20 year old Benavidez destroyed, please stop the trolling. Glen johnson had over 20 losses when groves beat him. Murray and Eubank are domestic level fighters that even Angulu and Kyrone Davis would beat.

Lemueix , Dirrell , Plant, Andrade were former or current champions. Groves never beat a single WC yet you claim he has a better resume than Benavidez. You are living in an alternate reality.
