Groves vs. Smith weigh-in

Has Smith ever been smacked in the mouth? I mean really hit?

Because I can't remember him being hit and hit hard and that's one thing Groves can do, he hits hard.

I'm leaning towards a Groves decision but I wouldn't rule out this looking like Groves Vs Paul Smith because I'm not sure if Smith can take a shot.

Shot Holtzken had more than enough to keep Smith honest. Groves should box Smith up, the shoulder injury is the Wild card

 

I always fancied Smith to beat Groves

The consensus appears to favour Groves, but I feel like Callum is easily the best Smith brother.

Callum has unusual size for the weight and hits like a truck.
Groves is peaking but I just feel like Smith has a little more X factor

Yeah the shoulder injury is a concern, I just think it will be very interesting if and when Groves lands a right hand.

 

No doubt my brother , this is definitely the hardest puncher/most technically sound boxer Smith has fought can't say the same for Groves lol.

I just hope Groves isn't too battle worn I know boxing would prefer Smith win, WBSS/Saudi should be neutral.


My only fear: I only bet 300 Groves so not really huge & sadly I'll be at work so I'll miss the fight live.


Groves is a notorious slow starter, Smith is a bomber vs some Prospects. If Smith is smart he should come out firing testing Grove's shoulder. Is this Smith's moment?

The fight should be technical after early scares but I think Groves wins

Good points, I think Groves will just be too ring smart for Smith, his experience will play a huge part also, I'm going with Groves by decision.

I also want Groves to win and believe he will.
