Heres the stunning Team Elite verdict on the match-up for every minion on ESB to devour at their own leisure over an ice-cold decanter of Dandelion and Burdock :smooch

If Froch is man enough to take on this fight (which I think he is), It will be the biggest mistake of his entire career. Groves is a stunning prospect, destined to take over the weak 168 division with compatriot James Degale.

Although Froch is rightly well respected, he is simply a limited plodder with a granite chin and a huge amount of heart, Froch is basically a slightly upgraded version of Clinton Woods.

The Team Elite Generals recently met at the punch resistance laboratories in Lichtenstein and carefully analysed this match up, carefully dissecting the tangents of the match up before coming to an overwhelming conclusion :grouphug

Froch's resume is severly overated, partly due to the huge hype around Andre Ward and the desperate attempts of fanboys statestide to make the current weak 168 division seem relevant. The truth is that Groves victory over Degale is better than any victory on Froch's resume and in 5 years time that victory will receive huge recognition when the pair dominate all at 168 for a sustained period. For a closer comparison of the 2, check out the difference in quality of performance of Groves and Froch against journeyman Glen Johnson :yep

Another huge advantage for Groves in this fight is that he has sparred Froch on many occasions, whilst Froch was sparring with Groves, he will have had his mind focussed on his upcoming fight and not actually studying Groves himself. On the other hand, Groves will have learnt a huge amount from those sessions, he will know Froch inside and out and have prepared himself in his head of how to fight Froch knowing that this day would arrive.

Groves is superior to Froch in so many departments, he is the superior technician, he is the cleaner puncher, is the more powerful puncher, is the better combination puncher, can adapt to fighting backwards or forwards, is less battleworn, and is by far the hungrier fighter :deal

Froch has 2 main advantages, a better chin and experience - that will not be enough for him in this match-up. Not only does Groves beat Froch comprehensively, he stops him late on via a series of unanswered 7 and 8 piece combinations as the Cobra lays helpless on the ropes with his gormless chops peppered into submission before the compassionate referee steps in to save Froch any further punishment :vonnecunt

The great thing for Groves is that Froch is without a shadow of doubt the cashcow at 168, this huge domestic showdown will earn Groves more in one fight than Andre Ward has earned in his entire career . Groves will then take the mantle of 168 cashcow and 3 fights down the line Andre Ward will be forced from his hideout in Oakland to travel across the pond and fight for the big bucks in England before an open arena 40/50,000 sellout crowd :deal

You've heard it here 1st, feel free to bump at anytime, theres a reason why Team Elite are the most respected force in the boxing fraternity and in hindsight this thread will be viewed as another mouth-wateringly delicious success for everybody involved with the thriving corporation :partytime

    Yours sincerely

    What an outstanding thread.
Another great point to note is Groves excellent footwork and yes later down the line Ward will have no choice but to fight Groves, who has experience in defeating undefeated Olympic gold medallists at SMW

Groves will get stopped by Froch guaranteed.

I still don't think the fight will even happen.

Froch would of left everyone of Groves opponents on their back.

Groves fought Johnson after he retired when he was supposed to fight Stig. He was meant to fight the winner of AA/Stig but after Booth saw what happened to Arthur they didn't fancy their chances.
That on top of a gift decision against DeGale says a lot about Groves.

Froch is a legacy man. He'll die before he lets anybody hand him another loss .
Groves doesn't have that fire and his untested al elite level.

Tell me what top undefeated fighter Ward has faced?
What undefeated world champ has Ward fought?
When in a big fight has Ward been the away fighter?
When has Ward fought a top prime SMW? Froch and Kessler are past best and Ward said just recently something about Froch is getting on in age when being interviewed on Saturday

I can see froch getting caught big with an overland right by the saint.
Just like Kessler cought him in rd 10.

Except groves would have enough in the tank to finish the job.,,,

:patsch Froch has good powers of recovery he was never seriously hurt just a slight wobble in the legs but was steady again in a couple seconds.

Fight wont happen because Booth KNOWS and Eddie Hearn knows Froch will beat and derail a potential future cashcow.

Team General Elite should just hang it up. Groves likes to run and hold, fights scared. Froch will demolish this chump, and Groves is going to wish his handlers never made him a mandatory to Froch. You have to actually bring it to Froch to beat him, otherwise, Bute all over again. Froch by KO, and how Degaule lost to this guy is beyond me.

Groves shock us? Please, all he will do is shock us with his holding and running for his life skills. You don't become a champion with that mentality, and you get KO'd by guys like Froch too. Froch is going to steamroll this punk.
