Excellent footwork? I seem to recall Degaule hurting him. If Degaul can touch him, Froch will. Unless you mean his 'excellent footwork' as in excellent 'running for his life' footwork? Yes he is good at running (and holding on) for dear life. Unfortunately you don't become champ like that.

I think your trolling calling Froch overrated im big Froch fan

But i agree style wise Groves could out box Froch, As long as Groves sticks to his game plan fights of the back foot avoids going toe to toe with Froch Groves wins

Firstly, Groves will not, and ever will butcher Froch, no one butchers Froch period! Froch will go down as one of the toughest SM fighters of all-time. To beat him is to be exceptional. Ward comes into this category. He he fought a near perfect fight against Froch and completed a near shutout. While Groves is talented, he however has never stepped into the ring with such a relentless fighter as Froch. Even if he fought a near perfect fight, would he really miss all of Frochs bombs? He is yet to be tested at elite level and Froch would be a full level above anything he's ever faced.

Should he win then he most certainly will be the real deal. But something tells me that Froch will catch up with him sooner or later in the ring, and we will really see what Groves is made of.

    Terrific insight Bailey

Ward will not be able to avoid Groves or his credibility will sink to a new low. Groves will be the new cashcow and will lever Ward out of Oakland where he would otherwise continue to earn peanuts :deal

This is a particularly ignorant view, Froch will be pummelled into submission in deliciously crystal clear HD before a global audience of millions :deal

The only way this doesn't happen is if Froch scurrys like a coward and vacates his belt. Whatever way you look at it, Froch is trapped between Groves at 168 and Cleverly at 175 - I think you call that checkmate :yep

Obviously, On the other hand you have a vcash total of just 86 :patsch

Wierdyman, are you aware of what 86 equates too on the Team Elite vcash barometer? :think

86 = A gormless fart paste eater with a giant **** swinging from his hideous metre high forehead :lol::lol::lol::rofl:patsch

There is a real chance that Ward will duck Groves in similar fashion to how he did Bute by cowardly hiding out in Oakland. It will be a question of how much Ward wants to earn the big bucks, is he content earning peanuts infront of 200 ham n eggers in Oakland? or does he want to treble his career earnings by coming to fight the divisions cashcow infront of 40,000 passionate boxing fans in England? :think

If Groves connects flush on Froch then it is goodnight Vienna. If Dirrell can make Froch do the chicken dance, then a flush overhand right from the saint George Groves will have Froch stumbling around like a toddler in a playpen :deal

WTF you talking about Fartsnorkler :nut

number 1 - You're a spotty bumsteak that loves inserting cucumbers up your sloppy fartpiece :-(

number 2 - the next time you reply on a Team Elite thread, you address me 'sir head' :deal

    Groves a runner :rofl

The man is pure entertainment, Froch will be eating 7 and 8 piece combinations all night long, his roman nose will resemble Ricky Hattons nose after this brutal beating :rofl:vonnecunt

Sometimes you have to look at the bigger picture

    - Got an absolute gift v Dirrell and was put on ***** street by feather fisted Dirrell
    - Outboxed and put on the seat of his pants by hypejob Jermain Taylor
    - Outboxed by Andre Ward

Its just a question of which way Groves wants to beat Froch, does he outslug him in fight of the year classic or does he outbox Froch, peppering his chops with crisp combinations just like he did Degale? Either way, the Saint George Groves will be the man at 168 if Froch doesn't scurry like a coward and drop the IBF trinket.
