I think it's quite obvious GSP doesn't want to fight Silva just like Silva won't ever want to fight Jones. As for GSP juicing/ducking accusations........... troll moar... :dead:tired
Now at least Diaz will have to earn a title shot at GSP. I favour Condit to win myself. Should be a great fight.
condit vs diaz is the right fight. this is a blessing. the deserving fighter versus the guy with the hype. this fight will be violence. they love to stand and both have some interesting grappling but i think it will just be violence until one wilts. both are so tough and riding such a high that its hard to say who will be the first to wilt. GSP will be coming off of 2 injuries now, 1 huge. i wonder how that will affect him. he loves to train all the time but with a blow acl he will have to take it easy and maybe lose focus and sharpness. in reality though gsp will probably come back and train like a beast with other beasts to make sure he is 100%.
I wouldn`t say I was happy when the last Diaz-GSP fight got cancelled but Diaz-Penn was one of my dream fights & as long as the winner fought GSP next then to me it was a blessing in disguise.... now its off again :-( here`s hoping we don`t get the MMA version of Floyd-Pac, waiting a lifetime for one ****ing fight. Ps. Diaz will take care of Condit within 5 rounds.
Agree.. With the level of competition in The UFC, I'm almost certain he will lose during his return. One thing that's for sure is I doubt he will be able to dictate where the fight goes with fear of another knee injury in the back of his mind.. This will show on his face and during the comeback. I'd put money on this being his 1st knee surgery. I sprained my own knee after mowing a few lawns up and down a hill.. Woke up fine the next day, then while seated my left knee pops and shifts to the outside for a moment. After that, I couldn't sit on a toilet for a few days, couldn't sleep, walk, shower, and sit for too long without my knee hurting.. No break or MRI, just a really bad sprain. I wore a knee brace on and off for the next 2 months until I didn't need it anymore. Leg injuries are no joke, especially to the knee joint. Our largest joint, and I believe it is the most common injury amongst athletes and non athletes. No matter what they say.. You are never the same after surgery. GSP probably wouldn't be getting surgery if he weren't an athlete.
