Okay, now in everyone's list he is 3 or 4 depending on who you put at 3 or 4(BJ Penn or him). If GSP beat Penn(which I think he will) Is he gonna move to number 2?(If Fedor die he could make 1) ??? If BJ Penn beat GSP, does he become number 2? In both case, for me, GSP or Penn wins, they move above Anderson Silva.
I have St-Pierre at number 3. I would have him above Anderson if he didn't lose to Serra. St-Pierre has one of the greatest resumes in MMA.
He has the greatest I think in UFC. but it is sure that Serra's loss is a black eye on his career, but he corrected that in a complete domination in a way Serra never lost that bad. After he beat BJ in my opinion, Diego Sanchez and Alves could add up to his already good resume and that could be the end of GSP in WW division.
but If Cote shock everybody in beating Silva, I don't think GSP would go to MW for a while, they will never fight against. Like Machida and A.Silva for exemple.
Well Machida and Anderson won't fight for the reason that they're good friends. I would almost bet my life Cote won't beat Anderson. But you never know. I just can't wait for Penn/St-Pierre 2!
because Cote has power and a fluke can happen every second. Okami didnt wanted none of Silva's striking, and he woulndt be able to hold Silva on the ground 5 rounds. Cote is gonna try to land a big right hand, and try to change the fight. He almost did against Ortiz when he hurted him(i'm not comparing Silva and Ortiz) but people got to admit that everybody were saying Cote would get TKO 1 in the first round.
Oh and I want an avatar bet that Cote ain't gonna lost in the first two rounds. He is gonna be the first guy in the UFC to go to the 3rd round vs Silva. Any takers????
Well right now, judging them solely on their first fight, GSP is just slightly better, but a fair bit bigger, so Penn would probably be ahead PfP. The next fight will definitely clear things up.
I wouldnt really say he hurt Tito. He dropped him to a knee and Tito recovered quickly. Ken Shamrock hurt him in 02 more so then Cote did.
