And towards the end of that video, Diaz said he got tired in the fight. Is all this talk about him having the best cardio just bull****? Maybe he is good at doing moderately high cardio for hours on end, but nothing special when it comes to intense cardio for 5 x 5 min rounds?
Whilst people don't say GSP has **** cardio, you never saw his cardio hyped up like "Triathete" Diaz's was. :-( Keep in mind that Condit also looked fresher than Diaz at the end of their bout too.
Keep in mind that he nearly tapped Condit in the 5th and he hung tough with GSP after a long suspension...
Diaz showed pretty good Cardio considering he was struggling underneath for like 15 minutes, and fighting off takedowns and getting out struck the rest of the time. I think his cardio hype is justified, even if he said he got a bit tired.
