GSP is pumped full of something but I still enjoyed Hughes getting smacked around like that.

But to be fair he is very highly skilled. I mean Alves must be taking serious stuff and GSP manhandled him as well.

Don't fighters that are "taking stuff" get busted? I don't think GSP is on anything. You can make a case for Alves. He was busted in 2006 after he fought De Souza and was suspended, but GSP? I seriously doubt it.

They are taking HGH or EPO whatever they dont test for.

You must be very naive if you dont think GSP, Randy or that guy ****** thibalt isnt on something or for that matter all these guys.

Who is that 3rd person you're referring to?

I refuse to believe GSP is on anything. Randy you can also make a case for. I was sent a request on myspace by some steroid company around a year and a half ago. I didn't know what it was so I looked at the page for info and saw it was a page advertising a certain steroid. I saw the top friends list and saw this company had team Couture all over it.

Then I saw Couture had this company on his top friends also, I found that really fishy, but I denied the request and didn't bother with it anymore. Perhaps some guys are using stuff, (like Bob Sapp for example) but I think guys like Fedor, NOG, Penn (who is obviously on the look out for things of that nature), GSP, Machida, Mir, Anderson Silva & many more are clean athletes. I refuse to believe it's a sport filled with mainly dopers.

:good All fair points (as usual:)). I was once a huge Hughes fan myself, but his antics have put me off him somewhat.

As long as it's legal, eh Chimba?:).

This is the second such post I have read, both from respected "Posters" such as Chimba.

I sincerely hope that GSP is not going to be subjected to the same insane "He's too good/strong, what's he on?" debate that has just raged regarding Manny Pacquiao.

Yeah. Many people feel that way. But I respect Hughes though. I remember season 2 of TUF, where he was constantly heckling Jorge Gurgel:lol: and telling Rashad the truth. He told Rashad to his face that he was being an idiot. I respected that. Regardless of how people feel about his antics, it certainly doesn't take away from what he's accomplished. He's an ATG & future Hall of famer. I actually sometimes consider going to Illinois to train at the H.I.T. Squad. But I've made up mind and I'd rather train in Vegas at Striking Unlimited.

I think most fighters are taking substances for sure. Especially ones that can't be detected easily. when the whole world is watching, and you're livelyhood is on the line, of course you're gonna get any edge you can.

GSP Physical developement has been normal for someone who trains this hard!

He was already been call a freak when he start fighting so i'm sure he didn't need those substance! People need to start realise that it's not because someone his much better then the other then he need to be juiced! GSP start as a killer on his feet and now he developed as one of the best on the ground only because he work hard not because he eat ground beef!!

He actually has had a natural slow developement, he never grew over night like some guys did. Alves and Geison Tibau are guys that "grew fast".

GSP dominated Hughes because he is the better mixed martial artist. He understands how to mix his strikes and grappling properly which is something most fighters NEVER comprehend.

Exactly, whi ch is why Cung Le is good with his striking and makes it work everytime he steps in the ring. Even with his recent loss, he was doing things he shouldn't be able to do. And BTW, anyone can lose in a MMA event, all it takes is one mistake. Hell Fedor almost loss to fugita.
