was serra just "lucky" the first time ?..
GSP is the most talented in th ufc org but who knows...

I'm predicting gsp by submission or tko in the 1rst.

I'm sure Serra will want to keep it standing...but that will be GSP's choice after having some exchange then I think George will bring it down and beat on Serra. But as we all know can't underestimate Matt...not to mention he is so short and a little harder to take down.

You know, I've seen Serra pull some pretty nasty **** from the ground game before, I don't think he'll exactly be committed to keeping the fight on his feet. I think GSP is probably superior in both areas, but not so superior that Serra can't give GSP trouble from both stand-up and the ground.

That being said, I'm pulling for GSP. I like both guys, though. I thought it was especially cool last night how GSP took off the belt and said that Serra was still the champ until he beat him. GSP's got class, that's for sure.

GSP bringing it down might not be the best idea. Matt Serra is no slouch on his back, as a matter of fact, he is probably the most dangerous fighter on his back that GSP has ever faced. His Ju Jitsu is probably better than GSP. He got his black belt from RENZO after all. That said, GSP is bigger and stronger...

It's hard for me to imagine George subbing Matt Serra... I just don't know.

I think GSP keeps it standing as long as possible. One mental lapse in that last fight doesn't mean that he doesn't have the better standup game by a lot.

BJ is better off his back then Serra, easily.

GSP will beat him like Ike beat Tina.

I don't think it's a sure thing that Serra even comes back at all. A serious back injury is very hard to overcome.

I see GSP's next fight being against John Fitch or Karo.

Serra should win? How so? That's like saying Rahman should've won the rematch with Lennox because he won the first fight.

No ****ing way Serra beats GSP at his best, and make no mistake, he was NOT anywhere near his best in their first fight, I could tell as soon as the fight began, even when I was drunk.

GSP refusing to except the title until he beats Serra tells me something, that he's ready this time, and that Serra's in for a world of hurt. Same thing Joe Louis did after winning his belt back after losing to Schmeling. Refused to except it until he'd beaten Schmeling, and we all know what happened there. I see similar results for Georges.

Thats ****ing true. Serra can't be lucky twice in a row. GSP will eat him alive. No doubt about it.

I can't pick against GSP, even after watching the first fight. He, along with Anderson Silva, have to most ability of any MMA fighters I've seen. I'm pulling for GSP to go ahead and finish things with Serra, and then have him move up a division.

Silva may have his hands full with Henderson. Win or lose, I still want to see Silva vs. GSP.

Back to the main topic. Let's remember what happened the first time, it's not as though Serra is going to punch any lighter this time around. Also, if I remember correctly, Penn didn't really want much of Serra on the ground. That may have been for a good reason. Serra, like Penn, was a jiu jitsu phenom; and earned his black belt in the amount of time most take to get a blue belt. I still pick Pierre to win, but this is no cake walk.

GSP fought BJ Penn. Serra is a talented BJJ practitioner but he is no BJ Penn. And GSP will sub Serra if thats what he feels like going for. This is a bigger mismatch then GSP vs Hughes. Because Serra is nowhere near as strong or as athletic as Hughes, and thats a scary thought after what we saw last weekend. Look for GSP to come out aggressive on his feet, after a few good shots if Serra is still standing he will take him down and GnP the **** out of him. Ref stoppage in 1st or Serra gets submitted after taking a beating on the ground.
