Yeah, I agree. Just compare their fight against Taylor. I hope Broner is the favorite if they fight. EASY MONEY!
Very frustrating match-up for Broner. Algieri won't be dazzled by his Toney imitation, slipping punches inside (Algieri is accurate) nor awed by his pop (Algieri has a good chin) nor overwhelmed by his speed (Algieri is slow but not by the same margin that Broner's used to facing) nor is he small enough for Broner to bully (Algieri is the physically larger man)
I agree with this completely. As much as we all like to make fun of Algieri, he is a skilled outside boxer who probably won't play into Broner's game. The glaring problem with Algieri is his balance. But Kovalev's balance is good and as much as we've seen him focus on it in training I would think that's gonna be one of the first things John David Jackson irons out.
yall underestiamting Broner. I know you dont like the guy but dude has superior skills to Algeri. not the match up isnt the best so im not saying its easy but ill be VERY SURPRISED if Algeri could win 7 rounds. and wouldnt be surprised if broner drops him mutiple times
Try watching Algieri-Taylor if you haven't already, not because of how well Taylor looked against Broner by pressuring him but how well Algieri looked boxing circles around an at times stationary target in Taylor, Taylor would either stand in the middle of the ring attempting to use the philly shell or he chased him, Algieri beat him both ways. Broner would be outboxed he stands in the middle of the ring and with ease if decides to pressure Chris. Chris shuts Broner out.:deal http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9chegPzsHD0
Broner is wayyy faster then Algeri, speed kills!! Now Broner cant be flat footed like he is alot but he wont be backing up, thats for sure
