Probably because Chris John received a disgusting gift decision over Marquez a few years ago and doesn't have any real signature wins?

That's what John gets for not building on the back of his success over a P4P'er like Marquez.

Chris John never recieved a gift decision... it's just the myth of those who've never seen the fight (or only saw a poor quality) or just don't give a f*ck about the truth, they can cry robbery anyway since no one will defend John, an Indonesian. Well, if no one else, I'm willing to...

Chris John won a close fight. Most expert agreed with that after they've recieved a copy. Some just forgot their own picks in the past few months and crying robbery like those who have never seen it.

JMM lost that fight. And I'm a JMM fan who scored his fight vs. Pac in favor of him.

The question is still on? Whom did Guerrero beat to be named as the best FW in the world? Who's better on his resume than JMM?

this is just a question of the American guy being overrated because he's fought on American TV

I had Chris John beating JMM as well.

This should happen! If you don't go out and fight the top guys, you should eventually fall from grace. I don't know who Chris John fought last, Guerrero fought Jason Litzau last, at least I know who Litzau is more than I can say for the guys John is fighting.

I disagree with that. Guerrero is a solid figher.

And btw BigBone where are you seeing this? In my ring magazine they have John at 1 and Guerrero at 2

Well they are making it easier to Gomboa. Yuriorkis will smack John's ass later this year and will be ring champ in two years after the begining of his career.

Dan Rafael and Doug Fischer both had Marquez winning fairly comfortably. With that said, I am surprised that The Ring has Guerrero ahead of John in the rankings. Does Guerrero have any ties to GBP?

yeah I mentioned this a little while ago. Its mind boggling to be honest. They had John #1, until Guerrero beat Litzau. That doesnt make any sense though, how do you move up to #1 by beating a guy who I dont even think was in their top 10. The only way Guerrero should have moved ahead of John, would be by beating John himself, which obviously didnt happen. The Ring has some explaining to do on this one. With that being said, John really need to step up the competition.

John needs to have a rematch with Marquez. I read somewhere that GBP is/was trying to set this up.

yeh I don't get that. They had it right in their latest magazine! OH well though, as someone else already said just give Gamboa a year or two and he will be #1 unless he jumps up to jr light

The problem is that JMM would have to travel back to Indonesia to do it cause John ain't goin nowhere!
