They're styles and footwork are very similar, Garcia does none of the slime bag tactics the Ghost uses in the ring. They are flat footed and very average athletically, but Garcia has massive power compared to Guerreo. While I like them both I find them having trouble with slicker fighters. Berto chose to stand two toe to toe using a pathetic version of the shoulder and still landed huge upper cuts to the Guerreo. Khan boxed circles around Danny until he got caught. I think Danny beats Judah after he gases and Floyd gives the Ghost a Gatti style beating.
I don't think they're similar at all. Guerrero is a rangy boxer-puncher who can circle behind straight southpaw punches or maul an opponent chest to chest. Garcia is a more stationary fighter who edges forward with a few jabs and body shots, but ultimately finds success hanging back and slipping punches at mid-range towards the inside and landing looping bombs over the top.
I don't see this. Garcia's whole popularity recently has been his two stoppages. Guerrero was handpicked because he rarely exhibits any punching power.
Not similar at all. Guerrero likes to get his shots off and slip out and repeat. Garcia is a counter puncher who isnt afraid to time and throw with you catching you inbetween your combo. Also garcia likes to bend at the waist, catch punches on his arms for defense, Guerrero likes to duck shots and step around you. Both can pivot well but really there are no similarities..
"Khan boxed circles around Danny until he got caught." Yeah. For 2 rounds of a 12 round fight. Then 3 KD's and a stoppage over the next 2 rounds. They were less than a third of the way done with the fight. Yay for moral victories. Khan fans suck. If they were Donaire fans there'd be thread after thread about how awesome the KD Donaire scored on Rigondeaux was... and about how he'd win a rematch.
