The New York gun laws are bogus. Guerrero had the gun and three clips in a locked box and presented it at the ticket counter. That should be no more than a slap on the wrist. Why they want to waste a bunch of time and money on a guy who clearly was not posing any sort of threat is beyond me. I don't get this country sometimes.

The question at issue aren't the gun laws of the US.

Making a political statement is all well and good, more power to you if you want to risk going to jail to protest what you think is a stupid law.

Still, you should hold off on doing that until after you've bagged the money and can achieve financial security for your family.

Stupid laws or not, Robert wasn't thinking straight. It was a dumb move.

You forget he's now in the public eye people know him, its not like he's travels with a body guard and crowd of 20 people. he just runs with a small camp. It just so happens he's involved in a sport that has more fanatics then fans.
How many death threats did Bradly got before and after his fight with pac.

Dude, one of the FIRST things you are taught when you are granted a concealed weapon license are the rules that govern concealment in your state (restricted locations, strorage, transportation, etc.)

The SECOND thing you are taught is that once you cross State lines with your weapon, it is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to dayum well know the concealment and even ownership laws that govern that State. PERIOD.

So, yes, considering the amount of money on the line and the felonies he's facing, Guerrero screwed up royally with his (and his handlers' and entourage's) ignorance of NY law. Doesn't make him a 'bad guy', but he should be, just as the OP did, called out on it.

It would be no different than someone from a state where smoking marijuana is a fineable offense deciding to blaze up in a 'Zero Tolerance' State.

As Officer Friendly would say: Ignorance of the Law is no excuse.

Not sure where you're from, but what you call 'bureaucratic bull****', in America is called THE LAW.

He made a mistake, there is no need for him to be called out on it. IM sure he feels like a moron right about now.

What a dumbass! I guess God would not aid him if he were to be mugged or assaulted in New York, so he needs a gun; BUT God would help him in victory over Mayweather.

Let's see, Donte Stallworth only got 23 days in the box for that believe it or not. Went to do 3 weeks, paid the family, resumed his career although flew his hot air balloon into a power line last week in Homestead, but lived.

Da'Quan Bowers, Tampa Bay Bucs, arrested last week at LaGuardia Airport in New York for doing the same exact thing that Ghost did. He actually had less charges than ghost, and they already said if he thinks he's paying a fine and getting probation, the DA already said he's in for a rude awakening.

Don't forget Ben Rothessberger and the motorcycle accident. That was before he raped women, well got caught raping women.

Shaun Rogers losing 500k in jewerly at the hotel in Miami Beach last week...the same hotel Broner got arrested at. Why need 500k in jewelry? Why travel with it and not wear it?

Add to the list, Robert Fantasma Guerrero. Lucky for him he was not there long enough to get to the Tombs and then off to Rikers.
