I think either one needs one more big win to make a fight (more importantly a PPV) sellable. Why not fight each other. I know I would be hyped at the winner having a slight chance at beating May, I'm thinking the most since Mosley.

Guerrero just earned his big payday against Mayweather. He doesn't need to fight canelo, which is a stup!d idea given canelo is at 154 and Guerrero 147. Buy a clue, Guerrero has moved up from 130. 147 is his max and it is where he will meet PBF.

I hate how Canelo's stock soared after beating 140lb Josesito Lopez.

Guerrero is the better fighter and has proved he can handle adversity.

Another non JMW opponent for Canelo, eh?

Canelo himself has targeted Cotto, Martinez, and Floyd for his next bout. I think anything other than those 3 may be detrimental to his creditability, which is already constantly scrutinized by many.

Canelo would eat Guerrero's ass up like a bean burrito.

    No homo.

    * Not sure why Geurrero should be expected to move up yet again. Do we really need to see him fight in a weightclass he shoudlnt be at, and do we need to see Canelo fight yet another undersized opponent?

    * I have to admit, I really dont see how beating berto at this point warrants a fight with mayweather. Berto doesnt even have a proper signature win, and while he is a talented and good fighter, he is very much an HBO creation. Berto is one fight removed from losing to Ortiz.... whos win ment more then, given the context, then Geurrerros does now (imo)

At this point, with Berto having been one fight away from losing to Ortiz, I really just dont see how beating him earns you a shot at Mayweather.

    Just imo though.

Guerrero keeps calling out Floyd(154 champion), canelo is at 154 and is a logical choice for Floyd. Floyd is not coming down in weight for no one especially Guerrero.

If Guerrero wants Floyd it will be at 154, why not earn his shot against another 154 lber in canelo.

    You buy a clue dumbass.

Guerrero isn't moving up in weight. It would be stupid if he did. Just jumped from 130 to 147, Canelo is just too big.

Canelo would **** Guerrero. Canelo's ring IQ is like a million times better than Berto's. If Guerrero tried those tactics with Canelo, he would get KO'd early.

I mean ****ing Berto just let Guerrero tie him up, why didn't he throw a jab to get Guerrero off balance or throw some shots and move to the side? Berto is just not a very bright fighter.
